I'll wait until tomorrow to post, sorry.

Not everyone's gotten their post in yet! It was my mistake to not warn you guys when it got completed.

Post is tomorrow, so make a second post quickly!

Huh, I guess the extra day wasn't really needed.

If I ever make this mistake again, I'll just boot up another update and you can post for the upcoming one if you wish. Just be sure to address it in your post or PM it to me.

I take a telescope and look at this Other desert we apparently didn't go to yet. (other since i started in one)

There seems to be some form of ruin there, from what you can see through the telescope.

Thanks for the feedback! This was actually in development for many pages, so might not have been the end of the Episode by then.
The Glooples will start doing damage at around Level 3. Level 2 doesn't do damage, but is a major nuisance.
(Also, for anyone who's interested, the original plan was for a new Gloople every 5 levels, but I decided that would take too long.)

CHARGES
Gloople Nest (19/25): Obtaining Plantera Bulb...
ACTION
Grab an Automatic Mook's gun and start bashing him with it.
"WHY YA HITTING YOURSELF? WHY YA HITTING YOURSELF?"

Ah, no problem about the feedback.

You deal 6 damage to the Automatic Mook!

I throw an totally normal rock at the Spear Mook.

You deal 4 damage to the Spear Mook! This is the one on lowest health, so you down it quickly.

CHARGES
Gloople Nest (20/25): Infusing DNA...
ACTION
Buff tzaoay's attack by putting a perception filter on the rock, making it almost impossible to notice unless you're actively looking for it.

You deal an additional 2 damage to the Mook, but it's already dead!

9/30 the rainbow test (On scp-093)
I throw a box at another box, and then I throw a box at the boxbox, this makes a boxboxbox, I then put a boxboxbox in the boxboxbox, this makes a boxboxboxboxboxbox, this makes all of the mooks confused and the weak automook commits suicide

Umm, alright. You deal 6 damage to the Automatic Mook...? Whatever damage they take is quite lethal.

Inspired by Bog's attack I show the mooks the most Cringiest and Badly edited Video in the WHOLE WORLD!!!

I'm too lazy to find that and see its closest equivalent at the time, so you deal 4 damage to one of the Automatic Mooks! Maybe it'd do a bit more if you did some targeting.

/NULL tzaoray, those are my unrealeased videos

That comment was completely unnecessary. tzaoray sums up my thoughts in the next post.

Wait....what.

TUMS throws a punch at the weakened Emplacement.

The juggling balls glow a bright blue... I throw them at the other Emplacement. They explode into a shower of fire!

(+1 to EEU)

You should have executed that attack last turn, it's worn off now! Regardless, you deal 6 damage to the Autocannon Emplacement and incinerate their Spotter!

The Unforgiving Mech Suit will do as you say.

[Attack]
Mythic continues fighting the Mook Autocannon Emplacements, mainly by attempting to shove them down the hole his last attack left.

I take out what seems to be....a lower case r? I then proceed to fire what seems to be the word bullet, like the actual physical word bullet, out of the lowercase r at the Smash Mooks.

You deal 8 damage to one of the Smash Mooks!

Well, crap.
Looks like my Eeveelutions need some healing.
I'll make a nice little meal for them: Fresh Water, Lemonade, Oran Berries, and Sitrus Berries, along with a nice treatment with Super Potions afterwards, just to make sure.

--------------
Espeon, good work! Keep up the attacks on the Heavily Armored Axe Mooks.
Glaceon, try snowing out the Autocannon Emplacement, so that they can't see whether they're aiming at friend or foe.
Vaporeon, use Surf again, this time aiming for the two remaining Rifle Mooks.

The Eeveelutions will do as you say.

Your healing is distributed among the entire group, so it'll be thinner than usual- but given their low health pools, it can mean the difference between life and fainting! Each Eeveelution recovers 3 health.

I start pretending to be a chicken in front of the Mook Autocannon Emplacement, after they start firing at me I deflect the shots right back at them with my Lightsaber.

It's pretty difficult to tell how good your item is, since it's quite complicated.

After reading it over a bit, I'm not sure what Flame Spirits or your other two entities are, and the crowd-hitting attacks seem somewhat unnecessary. I'll add it in as I see fit, but feel free to suggest changes as you see fit.

The scream doesn't target anything, so I assume you're frustrated? If my blunder's the cause of it, sorry about that.

Mandalorian Armor obtained!

That Mook happens to be wearing heavy armor, which stops much of the Piano's damage. It still deals 2 damage, though!

Update complete!

Before I forget, the update's complete! Post freely knowing that your knowledge of the field is up to date.

The Anniversary is on Tuesday, so stay tuned for that! I might have an update started then or Wednesday depending on post count.

I mean, if I can't craft things and i can't go since goldhero's not here, what do I do?
well, for this turn, if aloud, i have the patchupiffyer heal the APEX, and try to set things up so 1) they both come with us 2) the chicken is in the encampment and 3)the APEX is now bodyguarding the patchupiffyer.

Hey everyone! Today's not the best day I could make this statement from scratch, but I'll try this out. It's certainly a big occasion.

Today's the THIRD anniversary of this game's release.

...Wow. Three whole years. Holy smokes. I've been dedicated to this since the DTG2/0 era. That's a long time, especially on the internet. We've officially managed to become the oldest DTG game still running, which is no easy feat... I'm proud of all of our tenacity. We've managed to make a successful, thriving migration to the TCF, making it our comfortable home... and a lot of people have joined us. We've managed to hold out here, writing over 60 whole pages... which, honestly doesn't seem like a lot on paper. Recently, I've become aware of how much progress we've done, but it's still a lot compared to this monster of a story we have to get through. Your willpower to keep going with this game amazes me.

Speaking of the future...

I've recently realized two things about this game's lore and story- it's an incredible monster to get through, and the episodic format is too limiting. If we keep going with the current set, my ten-year prediction will turn into a best-case scenario. I'll likely cut out some Episodes and merge existing ones, making them closer to five. I might do away with some sets of the story altogether- I have a lot which could use trimming- even though I've come far from the overly unnecessary, intentionally-dark and mature theme to make something more sophisticated- I've killed some of my darlings, so to speak. One character has been cut from the story entirely for being unnecessary, I've fleshed out another one (who we've already seen! Perhaps we'll get more from him soon), and I'm seeking to give another set of characters meaning story-wise and to make them count. Hopefully, my trimming as a writer should give us a more reasonable time to complete the story.

Even if this fails sometime (which will take a long decline, hopefully) the webcomic/web story idea is always up for grabs, so my writing doesn't die with this forum game. It'd most likely work like a great friend of mine's project to chronicle the original DTG series. I'm perfectly willing to dedicate more of my time to this major writing experiment- maybe I bit off more than I can chew, but it'll be quite the piece, no matter how much of it I get through with you guys.

What about recently?

Of course, we had my blunder last week, which set us back. Our pace has been as strong as it has been through the years- we've gone through the majority of three "episodes", which as I put before, I greatly wish to reduce. I'll be putting in a hopefully creatively-made Acolyte- damaging section with little emphasis on charging and entities to ramp things up as people get ready to go to school- my first day's tomorrow. Some form of error can only be expected on my part, but I'll try to minimize mistakes and overworking as much as I can.

I'd like to make the gameplay a lot quicker and/or funner as well- as said before, I'd like to make the Acolyte take damage heavily soon, include creative game mechanics with story progression, and tailor it to the multi-attacking, every-man-for-themselves mob strategies that seem to have taken hold here- such tactics aren't necessarily bad in comparison to more organized teamplay, and I'd like to work around it. I also wonder if items are in a good spot now, even if they could be improved.

If you want to ensure you get notified when I update, check out the Discord link in the OP. Quite a few of these players (especially plague126) I've met over the Discord, and the community (including the aforementioned) is absolutely fantastic, and they've been my greatest friends at this stage in my life.

No dop today- It's really late for me, and I have school matters to attend to in the morning. Make those posts count. I'll come out with an update tomorrow, assuming I don't have much schoolwork to get through and I can manage my time well.

> END OF YEAR 3

I shoot off a storm of fireworks to increase the ATK of TUMS and (hopefully) other entities. (Wow, three years!? Also, down here in AZ, I think everyone's started already, I certainly have)
