About

Here is a thread where I will be discussing the Lore & Worlds within my several fiction projects. They are all technically set in the same exact Multiverse, but not in the same continuity. To get what I am explaining out of the way, I will be giving some basic background info on my projects & how my cosmology works.

Continuity:

A version of the multiverse with a consistent set of laws of physics, events, and collective history. Basically an in-universe name/what my characters would call my "projects" and each Continuity is separated by septillion light years of Otherworld/Void from each other; while one in theory can travel from one of my projects to another, it would take so long that even the immortal characters would perish (since they still require food and that would certainly run out) before they get to their desired destination.

View attachment Azural Multiverse Diagram.jpg
Realm:

A single Layer of the entire multiverse and contains several universes that share the same laws of physics with those of the same realm.A realm is highlighted by a color in this diagram. For reference on directions, "Up", or "Higher" is represented by how closer one is to the center/The Aetherworld, while the further away from it is "Down", or "Lower".

The known realms include:

  • The Aetherworld (highlighted in White): The realm of the Cosmicans, the Cosmic Council (formerly the Elder Council), and the "Highest" realm. Universes in this realm have time that flows slowly, highly consistent "Seasons" and "Weather", and an environment that can adapt to every living inhabitant that comes here.Newly born universes are created here, by Ullos (whose physical incarnation is Ullyne, and so is aligned with the current standing council here).
  • The Asterworld (highlighted in Purple): The realm between realms; sort of Limbo. There are several Asterworlds, and they include the Dreamscape (where Dreams take place & borders the Aetherworld and Overworlds), the Phantasma Library (the Afterlife where a Library is located & borders the Overworld & Underworld), and the Cosmic Resort (Where a bunch of interdimensional pocket-dimension places are location & borders the Underworld & Otherworld).
  • The Overworld (highlighted in Blue): The realm where most mortal species and civilizations live; it is known as the Mainstream Reality space, and the known laws of Physics (Time, Space, Gravity, and Magic) exist & are consistent with our (the humans') understanding.
  • The Underworld (highlighted in Red): The realm of the Demons, the Warden & his Keepers, and the Reapers. Note that "Demon" here isn't a species and moreso just a catch-in-all term for those who are imprisoned here (the Most vile of deceased souls, as well as very dangerous creatures, and the sleeping being Aeterna). It is the lowest realm, and connects directly to the Phantasma Library. It is a diverse place and features every biome from the Overworld. The most overworld-like subrealm is the Surface, which is where the Warden's Headquarters is. The Burning Fields are where the Demons are kept, and the Deep Abyss is where Reapers (who are currently not working for Psione, owner of the Library) live. Right underneath the Deep Abyss is where Aeterna, the never-ending death, slumbers to this day.
  • The Otherworld: The name for the realm that lies beyond the known Multiverse and inhospitable for any non-native life in most regions. Most of it is in peruptual darkness and is where dead universes lie. The Otherworld Kingdom, separate from the Cosmic Council, oversees this reality, alongside countless Othersider nations. Ecto-vines are found on all inhabited planets, and supply the oxgyen & warmth for the residential creatures.
Universe:

A cluster of galaxies & celestials objects with its unique set of events that occurred wihtin. "Timeline" is another word for Universe, as well as "Dimension"; they mean the same thing, and are used interchangly. Universes are within realms, and can move freely.

There is no known naming pattern for Universes, and they are simply named after a notable structure, region, planet, or person from that universe. Examples of universes include: The Tempestos Universe (Overworld), The Burning Fields (Underworld), and Limbo Universe (Asterworld).

Pocket Dimension:

A universe in a universe that is at least half the size of the average universe. Every sapient being has their own personal pocket dimension in the Dreamscape; where they have their own dreams, while other Pocket Dimensions can be created by reality-warpers (or those with Ontokinesis).

Azural Multiverse Core Shapes.png

Elemental Chart.png

Core Patterns.png

Azural Multiverse cores are gemstone-like in shape, contain the person's soul, have patterns, and contain 2 elements (more info on each image).

Soul Wheel Redo w text.png

This shows the Soul Traits of Humans and the Monster Soul in Altered Entropy.Humans have Soul Virtues and can have up to two; monsters have a near-equal amount and are white. The color of each Human virtue corresponds to the magical element shared with the Azural Multiverse they can use, while Monsters aren't limited to one or two elements. Determination is an element exclusive to Altered Entropy, and found in both humans & monsters, though moreso in the latter.

Soul Wheel Redo Negative Edition w text.png

This shows the Soul Traits of Spell Mutants, as well as a 75% Nyctus-corrupted Monster Soul. Spell Mutants have Soul Vices and can have up to two; Soul vices correspond to the same element as their virtue counterpart & can use them alongside their own, vice-related abilities.

"Soul Trait" is a collective term for the traits that Humans & Spell Mutants can have. Despite their names, Soul Virtues aren't all good and Soul Vices aren't all bad, they are named in reference to each traits' name.

A Spark of Unique Light, or Souls, are a type of Mana that is the manifestation of one's consciousness, and is formless.

Cores are physical, crystaline organs that store one's Soul, and act as its shell. In most vertebreate organisms, they are located in the brain, and in Cosmicans & Elderians, they are located in the chest instead (being the heart of Cosmicans and inside an organ also called the "Core" in Elderians).

Depending on the continuity, Cores are either a variety of geometric shapes depending on one's powers like in the Azural Multiverse, or Heart-shaped like in Altered Entropy (flipped upside-down if Magic-dominant or rightside-up if Determination-dominant).Azural Multiverse Cores are non-traited and always have two elements, while Altered Entropy souls have traits & are colored accoring to most dominant trait.

The Azural Multiverse

The non-fandom project of mine and where stories such as the Temporal series, the Panlumin Archives, and various original short stories are set. It is a Science Fantasy project packed with lore, interconnectedivity-ness, and originally developed as a coping mechanism. This is what I am most likely referring to when I say "My World" and is meant to be read as a Fantasy world with Scientific thought put into it. Fantasy Worlds where Magic is being studied, and deals with themes such as Going through life, the Struggle against good & evil, and the concept of everything being on an endless cycle.

The Azural Multiverse is overseen by the Cosmic Council, which overthrew the former Elder Council, and to this day, act as the helpers of the Rose Foundation & Light Recon Research Agency. They keep a watch on the sealed beings Orlyn & the overforementioned Aeterna, as both are tied to the natural end times. Meanwhile, the Tempestos Universe stands as having the last Earth, after its creator Gaia had been killed, and Emerylis's halves, The "Sun" & the "Moon", keep the balance at bay, with the Sun being Emery, and the Moon being Emerson.

Altered Entropy

The fandom project of mine that is a non-canon sequel to the Azural Multiverse and contains my video game fanfiction, such as Cursed Underground (Undertale), When Timelines Collide (Deltarune & Undertale), Chromatoon (Splatoon), Bleurria (Terraria), Kirby: Twins of the Stars (Kirby), Five Nights at Freddy's: Magic and Agony (FNaF),and Pokemon Crown (Pokemon). Each work is set in their own individual universe, save for Bleurria & Chromatoon (which are on different continents of the same world, a post-apocalyptic Tempestos Earth), FNaF: Magic and Agony being set in the past of Bleurria & Chromatoon, and Cursed Underground being Undertale if it was set in the Prime Universe/Void Dimension. Each Video game world also for the most part, follows the laws of the Azural Multiverse for the most part, as it is a non-canon sequel to it.

Every ~10-ish years or so, interdimensional torunaments are held in one of the Pocket Dimensions, and fighters can be invited in (known as the Smash Brothers Torunments). Those who do not participiate can watch, and they were originally first held to ensure unity between all known universes & prevent a multiverse-wide destructive event like the one that wiped out the Ancients about 3,000 years ago. The Paranormal Tracking Division is an ally of its hosts, Master Hand & Crazy Hand, who are two demi-deita twin brothers. Each fanfiction has its own story, and unlike the Azural Multiverse, Players & Player characters who can save, reset, and reload exist.

Biological Terms (Both Worlds)

Species
"Species" refers to a particular kind of organism with a set of shared characteristics & biology, and in which any two members can produce viable offspring. It is the lowest rank in the Taxonomic hierarchy, with higher ranks including "Genus", "Family", "Order","Class", "Phylum", "Kingdom", and "Domain". A species in both of my projects is given a common name (generally the one used in common speech and in Altered Entropy, being the same as their canon name) and a scientific name (binominal & consists of their genus, and species names.
Clade
A group of genera & species that are related in both biology & lore. Some known clades that contain sapient species in my projects include: Fae-Beings, Humans, Post-humans, Elderians, Pixies, Werebeasts, Seafolk, and Draconic-Beings.
Sapience
The capacity to experience rational thought and process the world. Fully Sapient beings are generally considered to be people, while non-sapient beings are considered animals. It is distinct from sentience, which is the ability to expereince sensations & feelings. In order to have either, a living being must have a Soul & a Core.
Now with all of this in mind, I'm gonna explain what kind of sapient beings live here...
Humans
Catch-on all term for beings that are descanded from the Asterians, who are themselves Humans, and are directly related to Fae-beings. Humans by defintion are bipedal, are partially hairy, and warm-blooded. Examples of Humans include Common Humans, who equate to real-life humans, the Common Humans' Altered Entropy counterpart Great Humans, the Asterworld-native Elves, the Underground dwelling Dwarves, and the tall Giants. Common Humans, Dwarves, and non-Mutant Great Humans are Amagical (without magic/powers) by default, while Elves, Asterians, and Mutant Great Humans are Mage Species.
Basically the result of me going "If it looks like a human and acts like one, it should be considered one" in terms of my takes on various folkloric creatures and wanting to create a whole lot of human subspecies.Humans are one of the more common peoples, alongside Monsters.
Monsters
Catch-on all term for sapient beings that are not humans,or related to them. Some Monsters may be Demi-humans, which is a subcategory of humanoid monster that physiologically resemble humans in ways other than being bipedal, while others may be simply Bipedal, Quadrupedal, or have a different body plan & locomotion.AM Monster Cores resemble Mage Human Cores, while AE Monster Souls are pointed-downward.
Examples of Monster species include Fauns, Werebeasts,Merfolk,Krakens, Dragons & Draconic Beings, and Lesser Elderians.Monsters are generally all Mage species (born with Magic), although not all choose to use their magic & dedicate to a life of wizardry.
Fae-Beings

Creatures that are closely related to humans and essentially came "before them". They are generally winged, can shapeshift (to an extent, at least), and are all mage species. This includes the humanoid Fairies, the insectoid Pixies & Wraiths, the many-legged Gooplings, the ever-changing Cosmicans, and the small Imps. Fae-Beings tend to have an association with nature similar to Elderians and unlike other peoples.
Werebeasts

Shape-shifting demi-humans that have a human-like form, an anthropomorphic form, and an animal-like feral form. Their default form depends on where they live (human-like is default in Urban areas, Anthro form is default in Rural areas, and Feral for those who live totally off the grid) and they can change their form depending on the situation. Werebeasts can be furhter divided into what their specific animal is: Werewolves, Werefoxes, Werebears, Werecats, Wererats, and Werebats.
Fauns
Deer-like demihumans that have a human-like upper half, but a deer-like lower half, and have pointed ears. Fauns of both sexes can have antlers, but at different times of the year, their hands have claws colored like their hooves, and all Fauns have freckles. Some Fauns live amongst other creatures while others live in their own settlements, far away from the Grid.
Farlanders
Demihumans with cat-like pointed ears, a short coat of fur on their skin, and a tail-like appentiage on her back. The sclera of their eyes are a lighter color of their irises and pupils are silted. They originate from the Asterworld and are associated with Elves, similar to Othersiders.Their fur seems to protect them from radiation and is not like the fur of cats.
Post-Humans

A term that refers to four species that are descended from humans, and are quite different enough from the standard human abilities & form. These include the cybernetic Void Residents, the hemophagic Vampires, and the Othersiders. The distinct feature is that these beings tend to flip from being considered human in some circles, demi-human in others.
Void Residents are gray-skinned cyborgs from the Void Dimension and are distinct by their black ringed white pupils. They also go through various mechanical upgrades & multiple lives, and can modify their appearance further, such as more pointed ears & tails. Their multiple lives are thanks to their chips, which store their Core, memories, & aspects, and can be transferred to a newly born baby should the original host near death. Though chips are not indestructable, and can also be turned off at any time.
Vampires look similar to Void Residents, but lack the pupils, do not have mutliple lives, and cannot have the appearance modifications, but have sharped canines & naturally pointed ears. As their name implies, vampires drink blood, but also can eat meat, and drink water, though nothing else. They are as sensitive to sunlight & garlic as Void Residents, and unlike the popular depiction, aren't undead.
Othersiders are tall, lanky blue-skinned Elves that have colored, glowing "freckle-like" spots. They live in Orbital colonies, tend to have farier hair, and have poor vision but excellent hearing. Like the other two, they are sensitive to sunlight, but even more so as the Otherworld is almost lightless (while the Void Dimension has longer nights). These guys are basically my take on Dark Elves, but aren't always evil, and are simply the secluded descdents of a lost civilization.
Merfolk:
Merfolk are scaly, fish-like demihumans that are born as legless, tailed aquatic creatures but upon reaching the ages of 16-21, can choose to develop legs to become terrestrial creatures. This choice is permenant, and can be changed later if the Merfolk goes with remaining in the sea at any time. They have scales all around, their hair being a collection of cirri, and their fingers & toes are finned.
Krakens:
Large, vaguely bipedal cephalopodic beings that live in deepsea settlements and are the creations of Okean. They are then the creators of Merfolk, and are named after their most famous member: the Kraken. Krakens are generally non-aggressive unless if provoked, and unlike Merfolk, can freely move between land & water, though they cannot stay for too long on land. Krakens can resemble any cephalopod. These guys are, alongside Aquatic Titans, are known as the rulers of the sea.
Draconic-Beings
Magical, sapient reptilan creatures that are larger than humans on average, have tails, and are generally horned. Some are quadrupedal, some can fly, and a few are bipedal. Examples include the large & winged Dragons, the smaller & bird-like Wyverns, and the limbless Wyrms.
Draconic beings generally live in abandoned buildings of other sapient species or caves, though some build their own settlements, and a few live alongside Titans.
Elderians

Partially bipedal Salamander-like creatures with an element-mimicking membrane, a spherical Core organ in their chamber-like chests that act as their hearts, brains, & stomachs, and have a connection with nature similar to Fae-Beings and unlike most other species. There are two sub-groups, namely the Greater Elderians, and the Lesser Elderians.
Greater Elderians (Voidans, Titans, & Anderians) are larger, have tails, and become geological features when they are dormant & while having an alt. form based upon the nearby dominant species, while Lesser Elderians (Elementals, Shadow Figures, & Grays) do not have dormancy periods & cannot shape-shift, are tailless, and mimic only elements or small aspect of nature.
Deita
Term for three known groups that can be a physical incarnation of a Primoridal (which are amortal, physical concepts), immortal or at least very-long lived, and represent the most powerful creatures in the Azural Multiverse & Altered Entropy. They consist of Cosmicans, the Chaoisans, and the three Greater Elderian species (Titans, Voidans, and Anderians). Cosmicans & Chaosians represent the lesser Deita while the Greater Elderians representthe elder Deita.
The Greater Elderians represent Order & are the origin of life while the Cosmicans and their Otherworld counterpart Chaosians represent Chaos & are the origin of free will. They are variously described as "Gods", "Powerful Entities", and "Powerful Aliens". The word Deita comes from Deity, though not all Deita are deities.
If one wants to read more and do not want to wait for like, some more specific messages, they can check out this folder on Toyhouse.Well, for some of the species described here.

I am going to get more in-depth here

Azural Multiverse

Representatives are a lesser Embodiment who represent a highly specific concept, as in a singular instance of a magical element, substance, or concept, rather than the concept of a whole (e.g. A single planet rather than embodying all planets). Are generally Half-Deita or Greater Elderians.

Nymphs are half-Fairy, half-Cosmican Hybrids and are among the most common of these Representative groups. "Nymph" being the term for a Fairy/Cosmican hybrid that is not a Representative. These include Teches (cities & towns), Naiads (bodies of fresh water), Dryads (trees),Oceanids (bodies of salt water), Shades (shadow formations), Oreads (mountains, geodes, & geological formations).

They generally have the humanoid body of a fairy but lack a nose, have the ears & eyes of Cosmicans, but have unique, magical hair that corresponds to their background (e.g. Harbor's flowing, water-like hair as a Naid).Unlike their mythological namesakes, Nymphs can be of any gender.

Celestians are another Cosmican Hybrid, but are part Human. Unlike Nymphs, Celestians are much less common, and even to a point where most Cosmican-Human children are either Cosmican or Human; on average, 2 Celestians are born per century. As a result, what Celestians are capable of is unknown, but they are known to resemble humans like Nymphs to humans, but with the halo & ears of a Cosmican, and most have noses. Still, given their rarity, there's not much known about them.

Witches are human-titan or witch-anderian hybrids, and are born looking almost like humans, but with different ears & eyes. Most Witches aren't represenatives, but the few who are selected generally tend to represent regions or geologic features formed by Volcanoes and Volcanism. Throughout much of their early life, Witches are pretty much stronger human mages, until the moment they gain their Titan/Anderian-like form at adulthood. "Witch" here being gender-neutral and so can also be applied to male & non-binary witches.

Demi-Voidans are similar to Witches, given the Voidans' similarities to Titans, but also have glowing nails, freckle-like markings, and tinged parts of their hair. The majority of Demi-Voidans are either visually impaired or blind, and also have sensitive hearing. Compared to Witches, Demi-Voidans gain their Voidan form at a later age.

Primevals are a combination of Celestian & Witch or Demi-Voidan, and are initially born similar to Celestians, but later gain their other traits later. Most Primeval life births are twins with Iris, the Embodiment of the Rainbow, being the exception. Given Primevals are amongst the rarest of all known hybrids, not much is else about them, with two examples of Primeval Represenatives being Emery & Emerson, who represent the Sun (Emery) and Moon (Emerson) repsectfully, as well as their Prime Universe counterparts Leslie and Bryn.
Changelings are Voidan-Fairy hybrids and are known to live amongst humans.

They resemble demi-Voidans, but are shorter, have wings like Fairies that can be toggled off, and more pointed ears. Some were adopted by humans, others gifted to humans by Voidans to replace lost children. Unlike the myth, most were not swapped out for human children.

An embodiment is someone who represents a broad concept and are generally Deita or half-Deita. Only one embodiment can exist at one time per universe, and if one embodiment dies, another replacement must be found. An example of an Embodiment would be Kilena, as the Queen of Light and Chaos. It is possible to be both an Embodiment and a Representative, as long as said thing the entity represents is related to what they embody.

Altered Entropy
Altered Entropy keeps the above concept, but also adds in.
The name given to Embodiments or Represenatives who fit a set of citerria:
- Have the ability to grant powers/power bestowal.
- Have means of influencing a person (either through teaching, charisma, or mind control. Or a mix of all).
- Have reality-warping powers.
Players, alongside Player-characters, can save, reset, and reload SAVEs. Some Players are also their own Player Characters in some cases, such as Nova, while in others they are separate entities, like with Ruby and Frisk. Like Players, they have multiple lives and these are also limited (read more in "Player Characters").
The character who drives various events in a quest of their game world and can save, reset, & reload. Some Player Characters are also Players, but not all. Most of those who are both are those who learned their abilities, while those who have a separate player were granted their powers by an outside force, who would be their Player.
Thanks to their circumstances, Player Characters can die more than once, and have multiple lives. In all variations of games in Altered Entropy though, these lives are limited (even if one can have a high number of lives), and eventually when one runs out of lives, their SLR abilities, or ability to save, reload, and reset save states, are gone for good.
Edenite (Both Worlds)

Edenite is a gemstone, and the origin of magic in both the Altered Entropy & Azural Multiverse. It is a solidified form of Mana, and can come in many different colors. Edenite is known to be found in areas where Greater Elderians have been dormant in, and most Edenite mines are within the magma chambers of extinct volcanoes.

Edenite can come in many colors, and each correspond to an element (as stated in the Edenite article in the message above). Both Edenite & Mana can exert the force of magic, but Edenite is preferred in the Azural Multiverse as it is easier to store. Edenite is used in Wand-making, Jewelry, and as a power source.Mana, without Edenite, can be found in the souls of all beings, and in the bloodsteam of Mages. Consuming Edenite can increase one's magic.

Anyway... time for some OC-specific Lore!

The two incarnations of the Sun Represenative, and the second half of Emerylis. The two were almost identical outside of name, time of birth, and fashion of choice. Emery is the main protagonist of the Temporal Series, while Leslie is a posthumous character who died on the Day of the Last Light, followed by the Great Darkening.

Upon the discovery of a twin universe, the Light Recon Research Agency travelled to that universe to affiliate with the Rose Foundation, and later sent one of its members, Detective Azura, to help publish the story so Emery could move with her brother, just to prevent the chaos that unfolded in the LRRA's universe from happening again. Upon Emery & Emerson's birth and later only the brother being moved to what would become Mayvu Grove, Detective Azura went to talk about the Destiny Isles with Stellos, Emery's father, and he then decided to pass the information to his wife, Leigh, and his daughter. Emery/Leslie overall grew up in a loving family, but her mother was often busy as a Doctor, and garnered her father's interests in sports.

In both universes, Emery & Leslie would meet a young girl of the name Lynn, who was a twin like Emery, but lived in a highly strict & abusive family. Lynn would then introduce both to her friend Percy, and Lynn & Emery of each universe would fall in love & later marry. The child of the two would vary. In The Cursed Underground, Lynn & Leslie would be the parents of the AU's Frisk, while in the Prime & Tempestos Universes, it would be the world's version of Natalie instead. However, unlike Emery, Leslie would have never moved out.

In the Tempestos Universe, Emery would later become the Mayor of Mayvu Grove, a Professional Magioball Player, and the Mentor of many mage children. She attended meetings with the next door Chroma Village, visited the Destiny River flowing in the boundary in-between, and worked alongside the co-mayor Emerson, who did the scheduling & most of the paperwork.Something that Leslie would have dreamed of.
The two incarnations of the Moon Represenative and the first half of Emerylis. Like with Emery & Leslie, the two are almost identical outside of name, time of birth, and fashion of choice. Emerson is a supporting character in the Temporal series, while Bryn is another posthumous character, who sacrified their own body for the Emerylis of their world to be born, taking upon his name.

Emerson moved from his old home to live with his Aunt to attend an Academy at the age of 13, leaving behind his sister, while Bryn moved out to study at a different university, and later joined the Creature Retrievers. Eventually, Emerson would appear in the first part of the Graphic Novel to reunite with Emery, and Bryn would regularly travel to do similar meet-ups. At least, until Leslie's death, where he was present.

Emerson would later meet up with Lucille, who moved to the Destiny Isles alongside her twin sister to flee their parents, and the two would slowly but surely build up a friendship that became romantic. Like with Emery & Lynn, the two would later marry, and have a child of the name Briar. The Emerylis of the Prime Universe, sharing a name with Emerson's counterpart, would remain single.

While not confirmed, there are speculation about another apocalypse would be brought about should Emerson be killed in the Tempestos Universe, given documents from the Seacatchers that were leaked by Cassandra Rouge. Instead of a "Great Darkening", it would instead be a "Great Flood", resulting from the increased luminosity of the sun & higher moisture in the atmosphere. A similar event took place 75,000 years ago that almost wiped out the Devoters, the ancestors of the Othersiders.

Time for OC-specific lore... part 2.

Kristan "Kris" Dreemurr, from When Timelines Collide, is based upon both Kris from Deltarune and the Cyan soul human from Undertale.
They're the story's main protagonist and in Book 2 is revealed to be the Prophecized Knight of Light, with their
best friend Susie being the Rogue of Light, Noelle being the Mage of Light, and Ralsei being the Prince of Darkness.
Kris, in both Timelines (as WTSC is a modded Undertale game), was in an orphanage and never knew their biological parents.

Hikaru "Nova" Suzuki is the main protagonist of Bleurria, and a completely original character. They are apart of
the Explorers group alongside Apollon & Miriam, and the three travel alongside the continent befriending NPCs,
finding items, and fighting bosses. Nova is particularly a thrill-seeker who is into exciting fights, and like
Kris, is a huge prankster. However, Nova was in an entirely different universe from their cousin, and was only able
to contact Kris through the computer, same computer Kris used to contact their two adoptive siblings while they were
away at Academy (what College/University is known in the AU).

The two would only grow close after the events of When Timelines Collide, though, and only then the two could learn they were cousins.
Yep, all of this just to tell you that two characters in my fan series are in fact related by blood (and could only meet due to the mod
itself. Perhaps said mod Frisk placed didn't only infect Undertale...)

A group of two teens and adult who set out on an adventure, and act as the POV characters of Bleurria.
They consist of Nova, Miriam, and Apollon, and are all non-canon descandents of Temporal series characters.
Nova is a Fighter/Melee Human, Miriam is a Mage Human, and Apollon a Ranger Elf/Void Resident, with the later species being
of my own creation.

Mostly as a FYI when I'm talking about When Timelines Collide, each story arc is divided into books and there are 4 books total, counting Book 0.
With brief, non-spoilery descrptions, they are:

Book 0 - Basically my headcanons on the Undertale, but with some changes like an additional human falling down, there needing to be eight human souls to break the barrier, and Undertale taking place in 2015 (while Chara actually falls in 1915). Frisk is the main character in most Book 0 stories, but sometimes an earlier fallen human, or their half-sibling Ezra may take over.
Book 1 - A story about the feud between two cities, the monster-dominated Cody and the human-dominated Monte Ville. From here on out, is the "Modded Timeline", where the war never took place, and the fallen humans & Asriel are alive.
Book 2 - Dark World adventures and the Legend of LIGHT and DARK.
Book 3 - The Endgame chapter, unlocked after Book 0.

Not strictly OC-related but something to keep in mind for when I talk about some of them.

Time for OC-specific Lore... part 3.

My persona's real name is Adelina Ander and Detective Azura is her code-name. She works for the Light Recon Research Agency, and her reason for doing so (outside of being of a scientific/paranormal background since she's a Paranormal Detective) is that the Prime Universe was her previous fragment's life. Human fragments work differently from Greater Elderian Fragments, as while Greater Elderians can regenerate entire new bodies from souls, Humans cannot, and so the dead, human soul wanting a new incarnation must seek out a similar human to connect with, and this results in Human-Ghost hybrids (rather than being from human-ghost unions, despite what some may believe).

The ghost of the original Detective Azura bonding with Adelina gave her a pink eye (as you can see with my icon) and caused the area around said eye to turn pink, mimicking the ghost's burn scars that caused their death. Adelina was the daughter of Yna and the granddaughter of Psione, the personifcation of Death in the Azural Multiverse, giving her free access to the afterlife (kinda explaining how she met Ghost Azura). Ghost Azura was actually IRL me in life and so she shares my IRL name, but for security reasons I'm not gonna share here simply because you asked -u-.

Adelina is an Asterian, a type of space-traveling mage human, and so her powers of ice & darkness are natural to her. Her becoming part ghost only amplified said powers, and she additionally gained foresight, an ability to tell an incoming event a few days in advance at most, and enhanced hearing (sometimes being quite annoying to her as they're also Autistic, like me). Adelina later moved to the Asterworld on a planet called Gaia, and lives in a bunker while having her apartment back in the Prime Universe for in-person meetings (she mostly does it online).

Adelina is the adoptive single mother of a Voidlet named Alexis, who is possibly a relative of the entity Osvir, and her neighbor & support person in a nearby bunker is Detective Comet, an Othersider who also assists in the care of Alexis at times. Adelina as of the Temporal series I'm planning to write after the When Timeline Collide fanfic is 25 years old.

Detective Azura Ref.png

I also made a separate thread for Undertale-specific stuff, so all information regarding When Timelines Collide, The Cursed Underground, or any other of my own Undertale AUs will go there instead. I also placed it into my signature for when I post in other threads.

Time to introduce Nihilus and Nyctus (two Altered Entropy villains).

Classification: Pathogen.
ID: Patho-1322
Threat level: Code Red.

Nihilus, aka Sculk or Skulk (can be spelled either way), is an extradimensional, fungi-like/vine-like superorganism that arrived on the Tempestos Earth in the Altered Entropy continuity 3,000 years ago & brought the end to the Ancients. Its origins are unknown, though based upon genetic evidence Nihilus is shown to share an evolutionary ancestor with the more benign Ecto-Vines, and likely arrived outside of the Otherworld by landing on several, unknown distant planets that it eventually converted to the Trech Biome.

Nihilus is known to absorb the remains of animals & plants that died near it and spreads via its spores from sproadators. Whenver Nihilus infects a living entity, it slowly converts the individual to the hivemind, and manifests within the body. If someone is infected with Nihilus, they are immune to Nyctus, a soul-borne infection.

Classification: Pathogen.
ID: Patho-02.
Threat level: Code Black.

Nyctus, also known as the Glitchlands or Virus, is a pathogen unique to worlds with high enough instability, and works like a computer virus. It can corrupt the files of games and mess with the textures. If someone where to go near a Nyctus tile, there's a chance they could get infected, and have their soul slowly turn a pitch black that glitches. Mutations will eventually form on the body as the person becomes more irritable, and is involved into a hivemind-like mentality with the other Nyctus-infested individuals.

Nyctus pretty much only appears if the Player character or player is a hacker, but is considered to be a huge thread regardless as it is capable of destroying entire world files and rendering many games unplayable. If a person is infected with Nyctus, they are immune to Nihilus, a body-borne infection.

I also written Google docs for both of them, if you'd like something more in-depth. Nihilus is pretty much Sculk but I guess more scientific as I decided to get rid of it being able to absorb souls, and there's more creatures that can spawn within that aren't OP, while Nyctus is a reworked Hate from Glitchtale (now even more fitting of the "Glitch" theme).
