I am sure you have heard this one before but here me out, I have som new ideas.
SEDIMENT ARMOR
The way to craft the armor you need a SEED SHELL.
The SEED SHELL is a Post-Plantera item found in the roots of the giant living tree, it requires chopping to the very bottom of the tree and there will be a seed it the background the size of a crimson heart.
Hammer the seed and it will combust into 3 SEED SHELLS
The SEED SHELL is combined with TENSE SOIL
TENSE SOIL is a mix of all of the biomes’ soil (dirt, ash, mud, sand, snow, crimstone, ebonstone, and pearlstone)
*helmet = 8 TENSE SOIL + 1 SEED SHELL 7 defense
*breastplate = 10 TENSE SOIL + 1 SEED SHELL 11 defense
*greaves = 12 TENSE SOIL + 1 SEED SHELL 9 defense
Special : Nurture effect; a small flower sprouts on your head and every 15 seconds you get 10 hp, that’s the silver lining
(i can’t make the sprites myself though.)
Buff : CRUSTY; immediately after leaving water, the wearer gets +15 defense for 30 seconds and the armor becomes a dull color for the remainder of the buff.
KEEP THE FEEDBACK COMING!!!

Can you guys make some sprites and/or give me feedback on my idea?

This armor is straight up inferior to Palladium

Calling it “Dirt armor” is a massive turn-off, even if the set itself is viable. You could call it “Gaia armor” or “Tectonic armor” or any number of names.

That aside, I think I’d also alter the set bonus to provide stronger healing, but only when standing on the ground.

Try to tell us more about the living tree. It's the least specified part of this suggestion. As for the set, keep in mind that grinding is different than challenge. 22,500 dirt is required to make the set, and I don't think that would be fun for the player to get. Also, I don't see how the seed is required in this set. It's not in the recipe. Maybe use the seed as a crafting station?

I will change the name, the idea of healing only when touching the ground was great, I was thinking of also a buff, CRUSTY, when exiting the water and increases defense by 15 for 30 seconds. This was my first post so I don’t know exactly what people will look for, thanks for the feedback!

I admit I didn’t put much thought into this part, I was thinking of instead of dirt, mixing the soil from every biome, dirt, mud, sand, snow, etc., to create what I thought I might call, Tense soil; this dirt has a lot of pent up energy. Everyone knows the giant tree in the world, I was thinking of having to chop the very bottom of the tree and having a seed in the wall behind the wood. You can smash it with a hammer, it then splits into 3 parts, 3 SEED SHELLS, and combine that with Tense soil to make the armor. I will chisel details tomorrow.

Yes, I love it!

It's interesting, but hmm, I really dunno if I like it or not. By that I mean if I'd like it in the game, it's not a bad idea. Perhaps with editing it could be better.

Also, uh, why is this labeled Mobile?

Just for the record you don't have to put any tag on a suggestion thread (didn't know that for wayyyyyyyyy too long)
