Do pickaxe will use which one eventually?

I'm using the Picksaw

Shroomite Digging Claw for me, because speed is the most important thing in my opinion. But I might carry a laser drill as well, in case I need the range or ability to remove lihzahrd brick.

I either stop at Pickaxe Axe or Picksaw depending on if Picksaw drops or not.

If I see myself needing to dig up a lot of stuff, I'll make Shroomite claw, but otherwise I don't bother farming too much for pickaxes anymore.

I'm with SteveisNoob, the Miningmobile is the best pickaxe, but not a pickaxe in the game hands down.

The Luminite Pickaxes are the fastest pickaxes, and since I don't care about range all that much and I'm most of the time a melee guy I use the Solar Pickaxe.

Only if you exclude the digging claw as "not a pickaxe". It has a speed of 4, vs 6 for the moonlord pickaxes, 1/3 faster.

You're right, I forgot about that one I just looked up "Pickaxes" on the wiki.

Never used anything higher than the Picksaw, since once Moon Lord is dead, that's it for me and I never really do any sort of digging after Golem. I usually farm Golem so that Picksaw always drops.
