Does anyone think there will ever be an official optimization for Terraria on mac? (Apple Silicon)

I travel quite a lot and me and my girlfriend are currently in a Minecraft phase but I want to introduce her to Terraria. The problem is that she and I just don't have the convenience and time to both use Windows or gaming PCs. I have an actual gaming computer and she only has a Macbook (M1). I also have a Macbook(M2) and modded Minecraft has been really fun on it but all the test worlds I do for Terraria on the Mac just seem to be an unpleasant experience. I tried the Terraria ARM method where it switches the game programming to play natively on Apple Silicon and while that does enhance performance it still doesn't give the full experience of this game. The main problem I have is when in-game, anything you do in your inventory your computer cursor shows up on top of your in-game cursor. It stays there for the remainder of the game unless you swap out of the window and go back in. Then it will be normal until you manage your inventory again. If you mess with the resolution the cursers then become displaced and it's just a bad experience. Ive tried all I can do to make it better but I just don't find it fun and worth playing when there are just these issues and it sucks because I would love to have this game on the go with the performance of an M2 Mac. I am a student in college so gaming PCs and laptops are just not a viable option for me right now. Is there anyone that knows any more info about this?
