There was a big competition that was soon to happen, and it was time to prepare. Everyone gathered in a big open town square like area. I can’t shake the feeling that
@Russ Guss Doodles was seen or mentioned at some point around this part of the dream, but I can’t recall in what way, or even if, it happened. I could shoot webs out of my wrists like Spiderman. There was an archway and I stayed up there by webbing my hand to the arch, but the webbing wasn’t very strong, so I still had to make an effort to hold on. We were awaiting an ultimate Terraria bossfight. The person who’s supposedly the boss showed up a few times I think, around the archway.
While waiting, I was playing Sneaky Sasquatch. (This
may have been before everything I’ve said already, but it’s hard to say for sure.) Back to preparing for the competition: My brother said that the world would be deleted, and that because of this I should be careful. I think I was watching YouTube when I hit Time Limit because of Downtime. I realized it was time to fight, so I had my grandma give me time, but I accidentally had her put in the code on YouTube, so I gave her my keyboard again so she could give me time on Terraria. I joined and it looked kinda like a zoomed-in version of the forums with me in there, and I went up a bunch. (It’s weird and fuzzy.) This may have been earlier or later.
Anyway, when the bossfight started, I was in an underground 2d area, kinda like at the bottom of a large cavern pit or something. It was bluish. Colorful squiggly lines and other effects showed up on screen, and I did my best to dodge them, but I died pretty quickly. My death text said something like “You will be alive again in half a [day/year/forever]” (I can’t remember exactly what the last word was), and it was in wavy color-changing text. I showed it to my grandma and said something like “Look how tricky this is!”Soon, my camera focus zoomed in on another player to the right. The color changing lighting effect faded and squiggles stopped showing up everywhere. The player went around, I think attacking a few enemy things, and there were these things that moved across the surface of the floor and walls and ceiling, and could open up to shoot a blue laser or cold beam or something that moved a little while being fired out in a continuous beam for a few seconds. The player didn’t look like a Terraria player, more like a generic Scratch platformer square. In one instance, the player hopped onto one of them, and it kept moving up the wall to get to him (dim enemy AI moment), bringing him upwards. I think he might have jumped off to attack it. In another instance, he was in a crevice in the cave wall with one of the things, and before it could shoot its laser thing at him, he shot one back, destroying it. In yet another instance, he was moving a bit into the tunnel to the left of the bottom of the cavern pit area all this was happening in, and tiny icicles tried to fall on him from the ceiling.
Don’t know how it transitioned, but next there was a guy that kinda looked like a bowling pin fighting off stuff, and he rode a zipline into the foreground, revealing that it’s actually a 3d setting. There was a big empty space between the lands he ziplined between. In the expanse is darkness. But he fell short of the actual land he wanted to zipline to, and landed on a thin ledge on the cliff face. He looked up to see how he might be able to get out, and then he saw that within the wall, or perhaps part of the wall, or even the cliff-face itself, are a bunch of things arranged vertically, with eyes similar to his. He either said the right thing or responded correctly to something, prompting the creatures to move in a way that helped him ascend. At this point, my dream mind overlapped with the perspective of him, and I began to directly control what he did as if it were me. But as I moved up, I realized the cliff face was built more like a whole ton of organized foam cubes, the kind found at trampoline parks; there were orange ones and tan ones. They started to become unstable, so I tried to move less, and I bunched an armful of them together and lay down. I think there was then someone else with me, who was concerned that the cubes would collapse.
Again, I cannot recall how it transitioned to this next part, but trust me, it’s all connected. Kinda. Maybe not really that much at all. I do have this nagging feeling I’m missing something important in the story, but oh well. I remember what I remember.
Anyway,
@TWillyH and I were walking together in a hallway. I told him to slow down, because I wanted to look in the rooms. One of the rooms had a door with a small vertical pane of glass in it, closest to the side of the door not connected to the wall. I first peeked through the pane, and then I creaked the door open. I can’t remember what all was there, but I think it was a tidy office. Further along in the hallways, there was a large room, I think with multiple entrances. There was a big window or a few separating the hallway and the room, like is sometimes seen with daycare and little kid rooms and stuff, which was what this room was. There were colorful rugs on the floor, toys, a couple teachers, and some small children. Next, TWillyH and I reached the end-of-the-hallway pair of doors, which were just past another door I may or may not have also opened that was after the kid room. (I’m uncertain because I know I looked into another room with kids (causing them to all look at me), but I can’t remember if it was before going through the door at the end of the hallway or after.) By the way, all of these doors before the hallway end door were to our left while walking. Also, I was thinking that this stuff seemed familiar, like we had seen it before, maybe from the other side of the hallway door.
Exiting the hallway, we found ourselves in a big room with lots of people, many of them I recognized as being from my homeschool co-op. It was the group of people who had made it this far, the winners of the ultimate Terraria fight so far. TWillyH had successfully completed everything and was thus there legitimately, but I was just tagging along with him, even though I lost earlier and knew I wouldn’t get any credit for anything. He asked me if, for that reason, he should take his little shirt design off: a cat next to the first letter of my name. I told him that it was all good, and that he could keep it. I noticed that the cat had 4 ears, so I comment on that, mentioning that
@ethan2🥐🌳🐿 had posted a picture of a 4-eared cat. By the way, the design was on the top right of his shirt (top left from my perspective).
Then I woke up to my alarm. :/
