Game Mechanics Dying Weapons

Weapons are very cool as they are, but they would way cooler if you could dye them, there would be a slot for them, and you could put dye in that slot to dye all of your weapons. Also, this would change your summons color if you dyed a summoning staff. Here are some dyed weapons:

I think it was already mentioned by the devs that they didn't want to include weapon dying because it didn't come out well.

There is a mod for this, you know. It's called Item Customizer. Not only does it allow you to dye it, you can rename it, too.
