Once I learn modding, I'm planning to make a mod (or mods) that increase Terraria's educational value!
If you have any ideas or feedback, let me know! Thanks for reading!
My first idea is a boss that causes a graph to appear in the background when he's summoned, (0,0) being the location he spawns. The graph does not move with you, so choose where you summon him wisely. An equation will show up on the screen; you have a short period of time to calculate where his attack will be based on the equation.
(The reference pictures are from when I first found the Angler on my first playthrough.)
In this example, the attack will not hit anyone:
In this example, the player will get hit by the blue attack if he does not move:
These attacks deal very high damage due to being easily avoided.
I don't know what the boss himself could look like, but I imagine he would fly around trying to evade your attacks while his graph projectiles/effects actually do the damage. Although... it would be cool if he had additional attacks of his own, so let me know what you think.

The Lihzahrd Temple could periodically have puzzles and riddles you have to solve to unlock the next section of the temple!
