NPCs & Enemies Emblems Matching up with Wall of Flesh Items

This has very possibly been suggested already and I haven't seen it.

However here is my idea.
When you fight the Wall of Flesh that is the midway point in the game. The gear you get from the Wall of Flesh is meant to help you get started on Hardmode.
However, the Wall of Flesh also drops emblems. These increase the damage of a specific class, Melee, Ranger, Mage, and Summoner. My proposal here is that these emblems match up in damage type with the weapon that the Wall of Flesh drops.
Say you get the Clockwork Assault Rifle, then you would get the Ranger Emblem, or the Summoner Emblem with the Firecracker.
I think this could be a nice little thing to help from grinding more for those new to Hardmode.
 
Does that means if I'm a melee user, the odds are less that I get to use at least one of the melee items?

Oh I do suppose that is a good point.
I hadn't really considered something like that.
While my idea might be helpful for some, I do see how it could be an issue for those who are struggling to obtain the item for their specific class.
 
or, the weapon type you dealt the most damage with changes the drops to match it.
 
Although the dropped weapon is random, and therefore isn't necessarily useful, if you play a different class, but the emblems themselves can be changed via shimmer, so it's not that difficult to get the emblem you want.

The developers have already solved the problem of emblems with the help of shimmer, adding a new chance mechanic to the game only for the wall of flesh, which will be selfish in relation to the percentage of things falling to other bosses, but it will also be irrational to change the whole mechanics`:p

Yeah, that's true.
I mainly had thought of this when me and my friend were trying (and failing) to speedrun the game a'd we never really got to digging to shimmer.
 
I accidentally blew up the entire cave area under the ocean, and the shimmer turned out to be higher and closer than I thought)
