Encephalons (a technical name for a brain) are giant brains that are as tall as the Martian Walker, and walk around in the Hardmode Crimson with pink tall legs.
They attack by spawning creeper-like buzzblades that travel along blocks and even jump into the air. This makes them quite deadly. Encephalons are agile and jump around a lot.
They may drop the Creeper Launcher, which is a magic weapon that copies this attack: it shoots powerful piercing creeper buzzblades that jump to reach higher enemies.
Its Corruption counterpart is the Spleen, which scans a green laser at you that leeches health. It is basically a giant purple rotting spleen with legs.
