i just made stuff to fight him; looking to fight him, but i don't have enough lens to make the boss summoner. i haven't defeated a single boss, so if you have some lying around and don't use them, willing to trade 1 silver - 1 gold, depending on what they're worth to you.

I guess you are speaking about the Eye of Cthulhu. I would not trade items at the very start of the game, because it destroys the fun and the challenge - at least my opinion. Just kill a few flying Demon Eyes at night, loot chests on the map or wait a few nights, because it will spawn with a chance of 33% if you have over 200HP, more than 10 defense, at least 3 NPCs and not killed it yet.

I can give you some, but I would not advise it.

P.S.
You should equip yourself good against this boss. ^^ (good armor [gold/platin at the very best], also a good range (and melee) weapon, potions, maybe an arena, boots etc. - at least a few of these things)
