I have very low understanding of stats, so I compared ratios of armor to make this. Some of these still have stats in the making!
Q: What's coming up for this suggestion?
A: Mech teir weapon stats, than lunar event weapons.

Each peice is sold by the demolitionist for 2 gold apeice. Set bonus: 30% reduced explosion damage.
Each peice has a 3(6 on expert)% chance of dropping from a possesed armor.
Possessed helmet
+5 defense
+5% thrown damage
+15% chance not to consume thrown weapon
Possessed chainmail
+8 defense
+5% thrown critical strike chamce
+20% chance not to consume thrown weapon
Possessed boots
+6 defense
+5% thrown damage
+15% chance not to consume thrown weapon
In total:
+19 defense
+10% thrown damage
+5% thrown critical chance
+50% chance not to consume thrown weapon
Set bonus: Enemies are less likely to target you

100 cogs = Steampunk top hat
200 cogs = Steampunk chestplate

Armored bones (rusty, blue, hell) have a 50% (75% expert) of dropping a peice of rusty metal. Here's what that does:
30 rusty metal + 24 chlorophyte bars= Rusty chestplate
20 rusty metal + 12 chlorophyte bars= Rusty helm
20 rusty metal + 18 chlorophyte bars= Rusty legwear
20 rusty metal + 12 chlorophyte bars= Rusty greaves
Stats:
Helm: +5% speed +9 defense
Cheatplate: +15% speed +13 defense
Greaves: -10% damage +9 defense
Legwear: +9 defense -Accuracy

In total
Greaves +Helm +Chestplate
+31 defense
-10% throwing damage
+20% speed
Set bonus: Thrown weapons are homing+ 50% chance not to consume thrown weapon

Legwear+Chestplate+Helm
+31 defense
+20% speed
- Accuracy
Set bonus: +30% damage and 50% chance not to consume ammo.

50 empty cogs + Vial of Venom = 50 venom cogs
50 empty cogs + Confetti= 50 party cogs
1 ectoplasm and 5 bones magically makes 75.

This is my first suggestion with stats, so please tell me how I did! Huge shout out to @Th3K1ll3rOfSk3l3tron for making all 3 of the sprites in this suggestion!
The grade 7 MCAS has given me alot of time to think about these concepts but no time to research and balnce these, so many concepts are unstatted.

I like the armor ideas for sure, though their Set Bonuses are kinda bland, in my opinion. Sorta passable for the Possessed Armor, seeing you could potentially just farm them at the start of Hardmode, but for Post-Plantera Dungeon armor, that stuff's near the end of the game. Spectre Armor, an armor in the same tier (and obtained in the same location) has Extra damage to other nearby enemies/HP leech as a set bonus.
...or maybe it's just me, since I'm used to coming up with unnecessarily flashy armor bonuses. I don't know.

Also, for the +Speed thing, do you mean Attack speed, Velocity, or Movement speed???

I noticed that pretty much all early and pre hardmode set bonuses are lame and it really doesnt get intresting until chlorophyte, unless you have 1.2 hardmode ores. Also speed refers to movement speed, I felt as though that was fairly obvious. The reason behind the enimies being less likely to target you is that throwung and ranger can bouth run out on an expodition and be pretty :red:ed if something comes there way. Thats why they had ranger use that, and the same could apply to throwing.

Damage: 120 throwing. It would also home in on enemies and autothrow

Crafted: 1 Luminite Bar=333 Stars
Throws 3 shurikens in rapid succession (similar to the Clockwork Assault) and only conusmes 1
Damage: 60 throwing

Crafted: 1 Luminite Bar=333 Knives
Throws Knives in a fan like the Vamp Knives (only consumes 1)
50 throwing damage

Also the Bone Glove should be able to throw any thrown weapon, not just bone.

I was thinking the same thing. Nice! As for lunar ecents i was tihinking each fragment cluld make a shryekin type weapon eith as twist. Solar inflicts daybroken, Stardust homes, Nebula would have infinite peircing and after it flies ofscreen, it comes back on the other side (once,next time it just flies ofscreen), and vortex is unnafected by gravity. The endgame armor would give a boomerang affect.

Typo for armored bones refering to the 3 post plantera dungeon fighter A.I. enimies, the rusty, blue, and hell armored bones.

This is a great addition to throwing weapons to Terraria! Hardmode Throwing Weapons is pretty good addition to Terraria!

This is a great addition to throwing weapons to Terraria! Hardmode Throwing Weapons is pretty good addition to Terraria!
My logic was a ratio of molten armor to fossil armor, seeing as they are both post-nightnare pick. I'll mess with the stats a little for the latter recommendations
