Resolved Flame attack in (hardmode) dungeon

Hello all,

when I move through the dungeon it does not take long until I get attacked by flames from all directions a you can see in the image below. Those are quickly killing me. I am just in hardmode, before killing the mechanical bosses. I do not know if this happenes before hardmode as well. I cannot find anything about this attack. So, I could not find out what is triggering this and how this can be stopped or avoided. Currently it is making it impossible for me to visit the dungeon.

Can anyone help with some info?

This looks like the torch god event. There is more info on the wiki page: The Torch God

Yeah it’s torch god, either get rid of torches or complete the event and consume torch gods favor to stop it from happening(torch god favor also turns regular torches you hold into the biomes torch, once placed down)

This is torch god event, it can happen anywhere literally when you have sevral torches in close proxmitity in a single area lol

Not anywhere only underground and the amount of torches are 100
