A wonderful day of snuggles: Day 241~​

... I recovered quicker this time, from the night. From the horror... Not so much.

I haven't seen Maxwell since. Same for Mah Pengy. I hope they are okay. But, onto the story...

We led Pengy through the caves as planned. The sun was setting, so the cave was dim. Nothing major, we got around the thin ice just fine.

Maxwell plucked another Torch, with the intent to return it. We went straight for the hole, as we knew where we were going this time. The sun was still on the horizon, barely, so the moonlight wasn't filtering through the hole yet. Pengy seemed surprised, as if he hadn't come here before. I was hoping he would enjoy the surprise.

The tunnel leading around was longer than we though, and complicated too. It took us hours, and night had well fallen as we were finding our way. I snuggled close to Pengy... And Maxwell led the way.

When we came to the Secret Cave, there was red light everywhere. At first, I chalked this up to being so close to the Fake Blood Moon... But then I saw the star were red too.

I felt the hunger rise within me.

And I heard Pengy growl.

Finally, I heard Maxwell curse, and an unearthly scream from above the ice.

The next bit is hazy... And what came next still haunts me.

Sorry... It is too much. I will just wait for Maxwell and Pengy, as I recover, my heart still aching from the events causing it to pound.

I will think more on this tomorrow.
