You would think Terraria would have more food than it does. Plus, the tooltip for the rotten chunk says “Looks delicious!”
Gel says “Tasty and flammable!”
Maybe there will be unicorn meat.
So many possibilities for more food.

More food could be added. But if new food was added i would like the foods to give new buffs or combination of buffs, maybe even buffs and debuffs. But the range of buffs from potions is wide. So maybe food that gives a music change or visual change could be fun when playing around.

It'd be wasteful and inefficient, but I'd like it if we could eat buff potion fish raw and get shorter duration versions of their buffs.

Just snap straight into a Prismite and get two minutes of Lifeforce.
