Weapons & Equip Forbidden Armor buff + set bonus rework

For summoners it isn't as bad but for mages it lacks some of the stat of other mage armors.
For example it doesn't have bonus magic crit. chance or less mana usage.
And summoners could also use a little buff to this armor.
The set bonus could use a little rework so it resembles the Sand Elemental a little more.

Stats:
- Bonus 10% magic/summon damage from the chestplate/boots moved to set bonus
- Chestplate now adds a 10% less mana usage
- Boots now add a 10% magic crit. chance
- Chestplate or set bonus now add +1 max sentry

Set Bonus (tornado):
- Decreased duration from 15 to 12 seconds
- Mana cost increased from 20 to 50
- Pierce decreased from 30 to 25
- Number of tornados that can be summoned at once increased from 1 to 3 (when you summon another one the first one immediately disappears)
- Tornados will have static i-frames (all the tornados won't hit the same enemy at the same time)

One thing I'm not sure about is how well this would do against destroyer, because I think 3 tornados could be op against him.

The whole point is to use Magic weapons AND Summons thats why it has less stats than a pure class armor

It's already got heavily buffed in 1.4.1 when it was already viable before then

I understand but Frost Armor is also multiclass but it has much better stats for Ranger and Melee than this armor has for Mage and Summoner.

I think it would be great if they added at least the crit chance for Mage and maybe the set bonus rework.

You are meant to use both weapons.

Frost Armor may have 1% more melee/ranged damage and also some critical hit rate, but you also cannot use a gun and a sword at the same time the way you can use summons, turrets, the Tornado, a Nimbus Staff cloud, and a traditional magic weapon. Furthermore, summons can't even crit.

This set bonus is also a direct nerf to the tornado - I'm not paying 50 mana for a worse Nimbus Staff cloud. You've honestly just made this armor worse.

The only thing about this armor that needs changing is the inconsistency of farming sandstorms.

Frost armor is a good multiclass armor, though. Sure, you can't use a ranged and melee weapon at the same time, but in early hardmode where you have a lot of melee and ranged options, it lets you use both of those types very well.

Both sets work well as multiclass armour sets, they were mainly pointing that out as the reason for why frost armour gets to have premium stats. Melee and ranged weapons get a lot less of a bonus from being used together (though they do have synergy) compared to summoner and mage (this is mainly because of summon weapons, but mage also has great supportive weapons). This allows frost armour to get good stats, making it a good set, while forbidden armour gets mediocre stats (and is still good in spite of that).
