FORE-RRARIA! Hitting the Links with Terraria Golf

I admit that I was a bit sceptic about the viability of golf as a minigame, but this post combined with Khaios' map made me really look forward to it!

Will the golf cart be a mount, or will it be something you can place and ride around if you’re in multiplayer. If it is a mount will it be sold by the new NPC

Aside from the golfcart mount and the potential the camera following the golf ball has for scouting, will this minigame tie into the game's normal game progression at all, or is it exclusively its own side thing?

I love this. As a post-moonlord activity this would be great as it gives a real reason to build and decorate worlds with actual purpose. However at the same time I wish there was an infinite metagame to go with it or some sort of endless progression that any golf game played would count towards.

Still, I foresee golfing servers and worlds becoming a thing where people can chill together casually, as a social activity.

Wait holdup.. I saw in khaios's video that there is a mana bar and healthbar instead of individual hearts and stars... Does this mean maybe you will be able to choose between styles??

This seems like a pretty nice change compared to most of the intense stuff that Terraria has to offer.
Also, I can't help but think about the Golf minigame from Wario Land 3 when I read about this.
