It can sometimes be difficult to trust a stranger, and I've seen other places have a board within the trading section exclusively for leaving trade-related feedback.
Possible downsides of this are griefing players which make multiple user accounts here, to start a clean slate with every target.. Although a bit of detective work on the part of the staff can help prevent this.
- One thread per user, usually linked in the signature of the person tied to it if they trade often
- Anyone is open to leaving feedback on the user after trading with them, whether saying "Good Trade" or "This person destroyed my base"
- People can be more cautious of those with little history, and take extra steps of precaution if necessary
- People can be less worried about sharing their hard work directly with those whom have plenty of "good credit" if you will
