Around 2 years ago, me and 2 friends were playing together and barely got to the 15th Wave in the Frost Moon Event, and I disconnected just a couple of seconds after because of Internet issues. Both my friends got their achievement, while I didn't. At the time, I thought it was because of the connexion error, and simply thought I'd get it some other time, maybe in a different playthrough.
Well, I started a new playthrough with my friends around a month ago; one of them was new to the game while the other was part of the previous playthrough and therefore had the achievement. Two days ago, we did the Frost Moon Event and got to the 18th Wave. But while the friend that was new to Terraria got the achievement, I didn't.
This time there were no connexion issues, and in fact I was still alive when we got and even survived to the 15th Wave when the achievement is supposed to kick in. Normally this kind of thing wouldn't annoy me all that much, but this is one of the very few achievements I have left to get, and it's bothering me since I love this game and want to 100% everything if possible.
Does anyone know what could have happened and/or how to solve this? In all honesty, neither me nor my friends want to repeat this event over and over until it works (the Frost Moon Event isn't exactly our favourite), so I'd rather know how to fix the problem before we start trying the "smash your head against the brick wall until it breaks" approach.
