Frost Moon Final Wave in Record Time (Horseman's Blade Semi-Autofarm)

Sorry, I meant in the blade chamber; did you use the same float glitch in there too?
Actually, there is a teleporter covered with universal hoiks, which hoik the crabs and mimics away from the teleporter into a 2x3 space above me to avoid backwards teleportation. Instead of using a dummy hoik to teleport them in, the statues float and fall onto pressure plates wired to teleporters that teleport the mobs into the main kill chamber. So no, I didn't use it there.

Got it; I thought you might have had a floating teleporter above you.

So do the pumpkins from the blade prioritise newly-spawned enemies over existing ones?

According to 1.3.0.8, the pumpkin heads that spawn go to enemies that spawn on the surfaces below, as the priority between them and the mimics/crabs is seperate. And since there are Frost Queens that fly around, few pumpkins go for the mimics/crabs and chase down the Frost Queens. 11:03 P.M final wave kicks balls, and fortunately I may provide schematics to probably get improvements from Dice or other T-MEC members.

I'm playing on console (1.2.4), does the priority still act the same? Or will the pumpkins go for whatever I'm hitting with the sword?

The priority was added in 1.3. As for 1.2.4, the pumpkins go for any hostile mob.

So I shouldn't change my current farm for your set-up? The statue mobs will be targeted the same way?

My set-up if pretty useful if you want to create it, as long as your system can handle the lag. Only a few pumpkins go for the crabs/mimics anyway, which is fortunate. Also, there no longer is a lava invulnerability. Instead, crabs now are being hoiked in to the player to give invulnerability, which replaces the Obsidian Rose with a better accessory, and allows you to have the Scale Mail instead of the Shell. And also, the final wave time is improved with this change, as it has a final wave time of 10:49 P.M for Frost Moon. And 8:09 P.M with Pumpkin Moon+ 100 platinum ;D

I tried a very quick test yesterday, the pumpkins do seem to avoid the mimics/crabs and go for the skeletons spawning from the statue at the edge of the screen.

I'm going to link it in with my self-powered hoik blade-chamber; the invulnerability comes from spikes on the floor, so there's no worries there.

I tried it properly; it worked a lot better, 2:30am for final wave (console times will never be as good as PC).

Just checking in to see if you're planning to showcase the farm - it would be very interesting to see in action, especially before 1.3.1 is released! Those are really good final wave times for a semi-autofarm, rivaling those before the 1.3 nerfs, and would be the best way of farming for platinum pre-Moon Lord gear.

Unfortunately, it says I am not permitted to post in the T-MEC forums ;(

You need to join first to post (there are no requirements - anyone can join). There's a join button in the top right corner on the T-MEC page.

I tried clicking it, but nothing happened.

Hmm, not sure why you're not able to join - you should contact one of the mods to see what the issue might be. We've seen people join recently so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the social group itself.

8:09 pm?! It seems my current record for final wave time (which is 8:11 pm) has beaten. Great work! :) I will withdraw my proclaimed world record as soon as I checked it out in your video or something.
The problem with this new record is that my computer almost exploded because of the amount of pumpkins lagging the screen.

if i may. where do you get the drops? after? or is there a new 1.3 item that is like an item magnet?

where do you get the drops? after?
Me? If so, I have never looted any drops at there, that arena is purely for record final wave time and total points. I will use this farm if I want any drops.

It's my turn this time! >:]
