Game Mechanics Fulfillment and Desires

I had an Idea, a very random one, but I don't see the problem. It might not fit in. But I'm still suggesting it.
So, this idea would be, Fulfillment and Desires

The concept is a character would get a Desire, and upon completing it, you become Fulfilled.
An example of a desire maybe could be getting 5 gold coins.
The desire would be displayed where your buff's appear.
The exception is it doesn't disappear when you die.
It would simply appear as an Icon in your buffs section

A Desire has a 2% chance of happening every 3 Minutes.
The desire can last around 10-30 Mins
In order to know what the desire is, hover over the Icon.

After completing a desire, you would gain the Fulfilled buff.

This buff lasts 20 Mins
It gives a small boost to all stats

That's basically it.
What do you think?

oh, that's true, I forgot about sims. Im not a big fan of it.
I wasn't going for that, I literally forgot it exists.

But you just don't like the idea at all?
 
This is a good plan, but the desire should be given as a status message, but I agree with the buff.
