Hello, this is my first post on these forums. I was a little disappointed that the Terrablade, once the greatest melee weapon in the game, is now obselete.

So how about this?
The False Gaia Blade, crafted at the ancient manipulator and made for devoted players. This sword would shoot a minor, infinitely piercing deathray that dissipates upon hitting blocks, and does less damage than the last prism.
2x(1x?) Terrablade
1x Arkhalis/Enchanted Sword
1x Last Prism
Not sure about stats, but they should be extremely high due to the rarity of the Arkhalis/Enchanted Sword.

And then, the TRUE Gaia blade, once again crafted at the ancient manipulator and built only for hackers, insanely devoted players and badasses. This would shoot a full, solid beam of death that passes through blocks, and deals HUGE damage.
1x False Gaia Blade
1x Arkhalis/Enchanted Sword
1x Genesis Prism

Secondary Suggestion.
Genesis Prism, a rare, alternate version of the Last Prism that has a 0.1% drop chance from Moon Lord. Instead of firing multiple beams that proceed to converge, the genesis beam would do the opposite, firing a single beam that proceeds to split. Otherwise, same stats as Last Prism and used in crafting Gaia Blade.

- Using the final tier weapons/moon lord's drops for recipes is a poor idea. It's pretty much clear to me that this is the final boss and his drops are (some of) the most powerful items in the game. Placing yet another sword in yet a higher tier AND having to sacrifice one of the moon lord's drops for it AND the fact that the moon lord already drops 2 swords anyway makes me believe that this is pointless and not all that creative.

- I'd rather saw off my own legs and make a coffee table out of them than farm the moon lord for an item with a 0.1% droprate. It is ridiculous and insane. :guideconfused:

The moonlord drops were a bit of a last-minute addition to make the recipe a bit more difficult, but I guess they might have been unneccesary. The idea was to have a blade that is incredibly ultra rare and reserved for super-veterans.

If you know how to beat a certain boss then you've shown that you have the skill, so there's no need to kill it a 1000 times more just to get some rare item from it. This is pure punishment and torture and does not make you a 'super veteran'. If you've beaten a boss 10 times you can call yourself a veteran and the boss should fork over his loot.
Besides, thanks to RNG there will be cases where one would get this item after their first moon lord kill while others will have to kill him 10.000 times for it. How is this fair? I hope you have realized by now how bad of an idea this is.

I also absolutely hate the idea of 'reserving' items to people who have the time to actually get these items. People with less time to play deserve these items as well. As for reserving items for skilled people, well, we have expert mode items for that.
