Console Game Breaking: Can't spawn Wall of Flesh

So it's my first time playing expert mdoe. I've gotten to where I want to fight the wall of Flesh but when I throw the voodoo doll into the lava I get the text saying guide was slain but no wof spawn! I went into another world and it spawned just fine. Any advice? (PS4)

Hi @PlatinumDetox, do you have the Horrified Buff when you go down to the underworld? If you completely shut down the game and re-enter it, are you able to summon the WOF then?
