I was creating an artificial jungle in the desert because of the painter.
My Bluetooth headphones were low on battery so they turned off.
My game has crashed.

Did you get an error message at all? Could you check Documents/My Games/Terraria/Logs for any error logs? Those would help tremendously in tracking down the issue.

I recently had the same problem with bluetooth earbuds. It strangely happens when the battery dies to me. The game just closes.
