Game crashes instantly when launching

When I try to launch Terraria steam says playing for maybe half a second then turns off instantly.

What I have tried:
- Reinstalling the game
- Reinstalling steam
- Validating game files
- Restarting my computer
- Updating my drivers

My specs are:
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
- 32gb of RAM
- 200gb available space on the hard drive the game is installed on

I don't get any crash message or anything, no window even opens, it just goes from playing to play
I haven't been able to play this game for like a year because of this and it's really starting to annoy me
I have wiped my pc at least once in this time and nothing has affected it

Could you start up the game with the "-logfile" and "-logerrors" options and then upload the resulting file(s) from Documents/My Games/Terraria/Log?

Hey was just wondering have you found a fix yet because I have the exact same problem as you and ive also tried every fix ive found. Please let me know because I really wanna play terraria by it self and not have to play through t mod loader still!
