Game freezes

Hello.So I have this problem that when I play Terraria the games freezes I can only use chat in game . I can only turn off terraria by using my task bar or task manager

Could you be a bit more descriptive about the issue you're encountering? When do they happen? Are you doing anything specific when they happen? Is this in single player or multiplayer? Are you using any mods at all?
