Game Theory: Wall of Flesh is Apart of Cthulhu

Skeletron
If you recall the official lore pages of Terraria, you'd know that the Eye of Cthulhu, Brain of Cthulhu, Eater of Worlds, and Skeletron were once part of a terrifying deity known as Cthulhu. But what if the Wall of Flesh is too? The parts of Cthulhu are mainly things you would find in a human (brain, skull, eye, etc.) So, what If the Wall of Flesh is actually the flesh of Cthulhu? This might downplay the lore a bit, but it's already contradictory, and it makes sense considering the theming of the other bosses.

What do you think? (please provide meaningful discussion)

According to the official lore, and text from the Guide in-game, the Wall of Flesh is this world's (your Terraria world's) guardian.
The Wall of Flesh is the Master and Core (at the Underworld) of the world, and when it is destroyed as mentioned above, the spirits of Light and Dark are released (Hallow and world evil).

This leads me to believe the Wall of Flesh is definitely not part of Cthulhu, but instead a protector of your Terraria world.
The Guide is sacrificed because he's the body the world's guardian (Wall of Flesh) takes form in to guide you through your journey, which is why he, the world itself, knows everything about everything.

Though I'm pretty sure Red said somewhere that the lore isn't to be taken too seriously, so, it's really up to you what the lore is, imo.

That actually does make sense. Maybe the Wall of Flesh is hostile toward you because (one), you killed his human form, and (two), the WoF believes he holds the world together. It also explains why the guide knows so much about the world.

However...

If the Guide really "isn't Cthulhu," then what if the Guide decided to revolt against his master, due to feeling bad about the world he has come to protect. What if the Guide (and the Wall) feel guilty about spreading Cthulhu desires as the Guardian of the Terraria world, and decides not to put them in play?!?!?!?!?!? Who's to say everything is a betrayed piece of Cthulhu.

WHO'S TO SAY WE'RE CTHULHU?!?!??!?!

Just a random FYI, more people should see this thread as not only is the 'official lore' not meant to be taken as the only interpretation, but it wasn't made by any of the developers either, it was really just done out of obligation.
You can treat it as canon if you want, but anyone who wants to come up with their own lore interpretations should have fun being creative and not need to worry much about what's been said outside of the game.

I know the lore isn't technically cannon, just having some fun :)

Canonically, the Lunatic Cultist and his cult are forcing the Mechanic, in the Dungeon, to build the Mechanical Brain, which would restore Cthulhu to its full strength (we fight Moon Lord when it is still grievously injured, as it is missing its legs and lower body in general). It's not really clear what happens after we defeat Skeletron and stop that. Maybe the Guide/World saw that the Lunatic Cultist was doing something else, and decided we needed to get stronger so we could stop them. There's not really any lore surrounding it, so idk, just speculation beyond the Mechanic making the brain thing being canon

There really is no "canon" in Terraria though, because the lore is more for fun (and pretty bad honestly too).

Only thing I tell myself is canon is that the Bride and Groom being the Angler's parents, even if they weren't married yet.

Huh, wasn't aware the lore was not even made by the developers. I might have to get to writing my own lore, then. Time for more Stardust Dragon shipping.

Hmmmm. Wait a second...

he said to only use whats in the actual game to add lore
If the Guide really "isn't Cthulhu,"
either he is the WoF or he is a puppet of the WoF, existing to tell the world about the history

I think the mechanic was forced to build the missing parts but was left with the lower body when freed. I think the cultist tried to summon Cthulhu back so he could use his power to squish the little person who was growing to destroyer of worlds power, and when the cultist died he summoned the pillars as illusions to distract you from killing Cthulhu. I have my own reasoning for this.

The lore needs to be solidified before any more major updates come out. I don't want to see the moon lord get the same fate as Ocram.
