A new Biome found rarely in the cavern layer of the world. It would contain a ton of gems and treasures, but guarded by ore inspired variants of underground enemies which are stronger and tougher than their normal variants. There could also be an increased amount of gem animals in the Biome, along with brand new enemies that are essentially walking ores or walking boulders.

little "geodes" already exist as tiny air pockets with a ton of up to 3 types of gems, but this sounds way better

Very similar in size to the marble/granite Biome, maybe a bit bigger or smaller.
