Weapons & Equip Give melee some early lifesteal

As of current situation there are 4 classes - melee, ranged, mage, summoner. Even considering yoyos and flails melee has been heavily outranged by other 3 classes, which gives them big advantage in boss killing. Considering all breakthrough points requre killing bosses (almost all prehardmode bosses, at least half of hardmode bosses), melee feels weak in terms of survival on master mode comparing to other 3 classes.

I suggest adding prehardmode small lifesteal item-accessory, nonstackable with lifesteal from postplantera knives, maybe upgradable in hardmode into something bit stronger, yet still unstackable with vampire knives. This would allow a bit more aggressive gameplay with more constant dps, which is easily achievable in prehardmode for other 3 classes and completely nonachivable on any boss other than eater of worlds for melee.
