When the game first came out my little brother and I played a lot of it and stayed up late into the night talking about our adventures in game and other cool stuff that we'd like to see in the future. One of the things we thought about was how cool it would be if there was a single, one-of-a-kind block that spawns on every map that, when mined, instantly teleports you to a predetermined location where some celestial being approaches you and hands you a random weapon or item full of strange magic. The name of the block isn't a big deal, but knowing that it exists somewhere in your world and knowing today might be the day you run into the God-block could be exciting.
