I believe that implementing the remainder of the gold critters (scorpion, duck, etc.) would add more diversity to the non-hostile npcs encountered in the game.

OT: Let's also make the crimson version of every bull critter! We have only penguins, bunnies and goldfishes but later we'll have asshoppers, buttflies, fireflies, birbs, frogs, worms, those critters used in Grub Soup, ducks, mouses, squirrels, snails and scorpions!

I don't think making every critter have a gold variant is a good idea. If anything just add a few gold critters.
