Bug Catcher, Miner - Eye of Ctulhu defeated
Zombie - at least one Zombie Invasion defeated. Retreat with sunrise doesn't count as defeat.

Me3sa- I REALLY appreciate that. I also had someone help me out by showing me the code. I've never done that before, so it was a learning experience. I learned a great deal today and I'm glad I asked about it. Thank you for being so helpful, I do appreciate it.
 
Actually You are the one being hostile, he was just trying to help, and you snapped at him

No offence, but his replies were singularly unhelpful. "They just do" is not an answer, and "You'll need a house" is just condescending. I don't think that getting upset over answers like that is entirely uncalled for. Moreover, since they don't just automatically show up with the first house you build, there clearly was a condition to spawn them (as listed above), so his first reply was outright misinformation.

Also, GrtAndPwrflTrtl, the majority of that conversation was completely on-topic, and it was not a long discussion in the slightest. Ease up on the coffee, buddy.
 
Wire current. As long as they are on the same circuit, they'll all activate regardless of distance. So just make two, put across a huge flat area and cover it in monster activated buttons. Carnage machine!

Pylons works unlike pumps, because it is impossible to create such devices without reworking entire wiring system in Terraria. So, few words of how they work:
Every pylon can have one outbound connection to another pylon. When pylon is powered up through wiring circuit, it emits a lightning bolt to connected pylon, regardless of state of other pylon. When you place new pylon it automatically connects to nearest pylon that also has lesser inbound connections then others. You can reconnect pylons using pylon rod to create different topologies, like connecting all pylons to one to form a star, or create chain to form a closed polygon.
 
Can you make the Ichor,Cursed,Frost,And Slow orbs rarer but have a higher chance of inflicting the debuff because i don't really notice the effects and i get around 5-6 orbs every night. Also Great mod the textures look like they are right out of terraria i'm impressed.
 
Just started a new character on a new world with this mod active, and I have something to say about it.

You made a gun that shoots acorns.

You then had the gall to describe it as "nutty."

P.S. The mod is awesome, but you made it, so you know that. Not an issue with your mod, obviously, but I wanted to say that since my world seems to have been generated with precisely six pieces of iron ore, that afore-mentioned acorn gun is currently the best weapon I have for fending off the earthen golems. I just find this hilarious, though I'm sure the novelty will quickly wear off if I don't get a better weapon soon :p
 
Hey, Me and a friend started playing this not to long ago on a server, i was reading about the problems with golems dissapearing, Earthen golems, copper golems dont dissapear but any other golems do as soon as you hit them, as stated sometime before its a tAPI problem, but is there a known fix to this problem? Thanks
 
I keep getting this error:

System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
at Terraria.WorldGen.NextNPC()
at Terraria.WorldGen.SpawnNPC(System.Int32 x, System.Int32 y)
at Terraria.WorldGen.UpdateWorld()
at Terraria.Main.UpdateReal(Microsoft.Xna.Framework.GameTime gameTime)

BTW, i absolutely love this mod. Personally, it's up there with Avalon on my favorite mods list

EDIT: I'm using the thorium mod and shockah's tweak mods. And i fixed my problem. Needed r14a
