Torch God
The Guardian of the Depths is a large being made of materials found in the underground and Caverns, most notably stone, boulders, ores, ropes and vines (acts as binding material for it), mushrooms, gems, and multiple explosives. It takes the form of a large humanoid similar to the Rock Golem most of the time.
You can summon it with the Cobbled Idol, crafted with 100 Stone, 10 Gems of any type, 5 Vines, and 10 Platinum/Gold bars.
Stats:
9000/11500/13500 HP
It is summoned underground, and has the following attacks:
Gem Spike:
It forms into a large arm made of stone, with sharp gems pointing down. After a short delay, it slams down, creating a wave of gemstones on the ground.
Boulder Toss
Throws a boulder at the player. Simple.
Roll
Forms into a ball, and rolls. Used as both an attack and repositioning tool.
Vine Whip
Extends its vines and rope, gathering rocks along it, before striking at the player. There are safe gaps inbetween the stones that can be used to avoid it, or the player can move to the Guardian of the Depth's back to avoid it.
Mushy Bomb
Gathers together Mushrooms in a ball, placing an explosive in its center before throwing it. It explodes when near the player, or after 4 seconds. Long lines of Mushrooms come out of it, restricting the player's movement for a short time.
Second Phase 50%/65%/85%/95% HP
the Guardian of the Depths moves and attacks faster, can use all previous attacks, while also using these:
Rolling Shroom Planting
Rolls, while planting mushrooms. After a short time, they grow into spear-shaped trees. There are safe spots inbetween them.
Vile Whip
Extends corrupted vines to gather evil stone, before striking at the player. Has smaller safe spots than Vine Whip.
Red's Favorite
Leaps into the air, throwing Boulders up, before slamming to the ground in a small shockwave.
Desperation Phase
When it reaches 0 HP, the Guardian of the Depths slouches over, before a hissing sound, the same as Dynamite begins coming from it, and the boss begins to flash. After 3 seconds, it explodes multiple times, dealing extremely high damage to anyone caught in the radius. When it is done, its body is disintegrated and its loot is on the floor.
