Weapons & Equip Guided and Homing rocket launchers

Exactly what the title says - either as upgrade for ordinary rocket launcher or as separate item/ammo sold by Cyborg npc. Guided rockets follow the cursor (flying around it when it stays still, much like raven pet around the player), homing rockets home on the closest target or must me locked on it first.

Also I think there should be stationary homing missile launcher - much like cannon, but before shooting a missile it locks on the target.

There is already a rocket launcher upgrade that fires homing missiles. Elaborate more on these guided missiles though instead of puling a "wouldn't it be cool". Provide a deffinete methhod of obtaining, and stats.

Uh... What upgrade? IIRC there's only grenade launcher, rocket launcher and proximity mine launcher that work with rockets.

Definite method of obtaining is problematic. Maybe an even more rare drop from skeleton Commando, maybe using chlorophyte bar with 70 rockets to turn them into homing ones with slight damage decrease. Or maybe sold by Cyborg NPC much like proximity mine launcher.
Guided missiles work much like magic missiles, but instead of just hanging in the air when cursor is still, they fly around it (or keep going the way they flew before cursor stopped, unless it moved again to change the rocket's direction) Basically rainbow rod as ranged explosive weapon.

Since those rockets will have an advantage over ordinary direct ones, they should do around 10% less damage. So, we take rocket launcher, lower its damage by 10% and add this special function, be it homing or guided missiles.

Oh, what, that thing that you get after the Razorpine and Blizzard Staff! I've never heard of the thing!

No, seriously, I believe this idea doesn't really do anything that Terraria lacks. Maybe if you flesh it out a little more to fill a void, then it'll be more worthwhile.

I'm curious OP, do you play on PC, Console, or Mobile?

If you don't play PC, that's understandable if you do not know what the Snowman Cannon is. That essentially fills the role as a guided Rocket weapon.

However, next time I would suggest you do a little bit of research on what exists, and what doesn't for each version of the game BEFORE you make a suggestion post for the future

Well, I never finished frost moon that far. Also they're homing missiles, not guided. They'd be guided if they functioned like rainbow rod.
