PC Half of my world got deleted

I was loading my world on mastermode. All NPC were gone and half of the world (the one with a dungeon) just stopped existing. (Attached map isn't fully discovered). I tried to restart the game but it didn't help.

Seems like chunks aren't loaded by the client because the server or connection is struggling. If you open the world in single player, the map should be whole again.
If you run the server yourself through Host & Play, try the separate terraria server.exe to create a server, located in the game's installation folder.
If someone else is running the server, then they might want to take a look at it, but if others don't experience the same then it's likely your connection.
