PC Hallowed trees bug me

In 1.4, the classic Terraria trees were revamped, and they now look like this:

Hallowed trees, however...

...still have the old leaves. Was this intentional?I feel like it isn’t...

There's a lot of weird inconsistencies with some of the sprites not being updated. The animal costumes (Cat, Wolf and Fox) also suffer from this problem, with their inventory sprites not matching their updated sprites when worn.
