tModLoader Halocaster's Halorealm

Halocaster

Official Terrarian
Welcome to the official forum thread of Halocaster's Halorealm.
Halorealm offers a wide variety of new items to get and strong monsters to kill. This mod aims to expand the gameplay of Terraria to make it more fun and enjoyable. This mod primarily focuses on adding new features, items, enemies and bosses to the game while keeping the vanilla experience for the players. The developer of the mod (Halocaster) is currently making pre-hardmode items and enemies.

I am currently looking for someone to help me develop this mod (More details are provided below)

Current Version:
v0.5.0 for tModLoader v0.11.3
(a patch will likely be released tomorrow)
Halorealm.png

Item of the Week:
Vulcrain Bow - Turns wooden arrows into frostburn arrows

Planned Features: (more planned features coming soon)
- 150+ planned items
- 3 planned core bosses for pre-hardmode, 4 in hardmode, and 2 in post-Moon Lord
- 30+ planned enemies
- 2 biomes, the Darkshadow Reaches and The Heaven's Shade

Stronger than gold and platinum set, but weaker than the evil set.
The strongest pre-hardmode armor and weapon set in this mod. Incredibly hard to get but the statistics of the items is worth it.

Download through:
- tModLoader's Mod Browser
- Mediafire: Halorealm v0.5.0
- Github: https://github.com/Halocaster/Halorealm/releases/download/v0.5.0/Halorealm.tmod
Note: The GitHub repository of Halorealm will always be ahead of the current released version of the mod.

Well... what this mod can offer?
This mod can offer new items and fresh enemies with unique bosses. Right now I am currently making pre-hardmode items, enemies and other stuff. I want the mod to be playable in the whole game, from pre-hardmode until post-Moon Lord. I might do some QoL additions and changes. I want to make 200+ items or even more... I will try to keep the vanilla game experience to the players while using my mod.

I hope this answers your question. :)

Hi Halocaster! Do I need a new world/character to play with your mod?

Hello DarkCart77! You do not need to make a new character or world at the current version of the mod. Almost every item in the mod are unobtainable this time, and the mod currently doesn't have biomes to add to the game. However, if the mod is fully finished, you really need to make a new character or world. I am planning to make at least two biomes, which will spawn after defeating Plantera. You can at least join our discord server for upcoming updates. You can also check the mod's GitHub repository to see the items which are not currently added to the game. The links are provided at the main forum thread.

The mod just updated to v0.5.0: The Darkshade Update!
Check the tModLoader's Mod Browser, the MediaFire link, or the Github link in the main forum thread to download the mod!
Note: If you want to try the new features, you can freely download it. However, if you want a clean, polished and bug-free update with a new ranged weapon set, please wait for the upcoming update (v0.5.1) to be released.

it's just jumbled letters, pal.

Is this mod ready enough to put it into at modpack? (Asking because I don't know, if ores currently generate) Also, when I place Vulcrain ore, it places dirt block.

Currently, the mod is not yet ready enough to put in a modpack. The ModWorld code for ore generation is not finished yet. And the Vulcrain Ore really places dirt blocks. It will be fixed in the next update, when I get a sprite. You can put the mod into the modpack if the mod is nearly finished.
