Weapons & Equip Hand Warmer Appreciation: Winter's Bite

It always saddens me to see all these accessories get added into the game and only so many of them will make it to the end of a playthrough or into a player's list of equipment. Despite the niche scenario of the Hand Warmers, I felt that it was underwhelming to see this accessory see no further advancement. It wasn't until I was putting this together that I learned the Ankh Shield protects against the Chilled debuff as of 1.4.4 and that's even more demoralizing toward this item. Like why should it continue to exist if it's purpose is outmatched.

So, that got me thinking about what if the Hand Warmer got some more time in the limelight. What if this item "could" become a potential cornerstone to a tank build. Enter the Winter's Bite.

[Hand Warmer + Titan Glove + Frozen Turtle Shell]

Immunity to Chilled and Frozen debuff
Increases melee weapon size and knockback
When Turtle Shell is active, reduce damage by 25% & redirect melee attacks by 150%.
True Melee applies Frostbite (3 seconds)

While granting the user the immunity to Chilled & Frozen, they will also have Titan Gloves effects and the Turtle Shell. However, to make this item stand out, I believe the best option would be to give this item a recoil effect that stands between a Thorns Potion and the Turtle Armor. Since True Melee is now a mechanic (unless I'm thinking of modded), it felt right that only true melee applies the Frostbite debuff.

The original concept for this accessory did go as far as having damage be calculated based how much defense the user has. But, I'm fairly certain that would be: A) Overpowered & B) Complicated to program. I also thought that the Power Glove was a suitable item for the crafting of this accessory, but backed down to the Titan Glove due to a nagging suspicion. [I have re-written this too much]
