Hardmode Potions



Hardmode Potions is a tModLoader mod, available now on the mod browser, that makes potion buffs better as the player progresses through the game, aiming to increase consistency and balance of vanilla potions. Lots of vanilla potions are either OP for when they're obtained or useless during endgame content. This mod buffs the majority of potions after you beat the Wall of Flesh, Plantera or Moon Lord. Overall I want to improve the vanilla experience and make most potions usable throughout the game.

This mod also adds new potions to fill in gaps left by vanilla potions, like a potion that takes you to your death point, and a few others I believe fit well in vanilla.

Known issues:
-Levitation potion causes you to fall out of levitation when walking into a block
-AlchemistNPC combination potions are not compatible with upgrades to potions
-AlchemistNPC buff from piggy bank does weird stuff with Inferno Potion

their seems to be a bug with this mod...when in hard mode i noticed when pressing the "Quick Buff" key none of the potions are consumed

I've been using this mod in playthroughs since release, never had a problem with quick buffing and none of the code changes quick buffing. I can't reproduce the issue either, quick buffing works fine for me. What mods are you using?

I disabled every single mod on my end leaving only the "HMP" mod and it still happened....the potions refuse to consume for some reason. i'm also using 64bit of Tmodloader...i can consume them seperately just fine...but they all just wont consume all at once

Not sure how to help from here then. With just HMP loaded quickbuffing works fine in tMod 32bit and I'm not familiar with the 64bit version. As I said before, I don't add or change any code to do with quick buffing and none of my code stands out as maybe affecting that. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful
 
it looks like there's a bug with the Rage Potion, it seems to not give the appropriate amount of crit chance but instead increases the raw damage by nearly 6x. Wrath potion also seems to only give a 10% damage boost post moonlord as well. (tModloader 1.4 alpha)
