Items Hardmode variety potions

So not too hard a thing here, just to make hardmode variations of all the PHM potions. So instead of ironskin potions, you get mythril skin potions. Change an iron ore to mythril, maybe add a soul of night or light, and have to use an alchemy table instead of the standard bottle on surface. Mana regen could require pixie dust. That kind of thing. Maybe even make them last an extra minute or two, depending on the potion.
 
I do not think they should have stronger effects, with the way potions work right now this would add too many essentially free buffs.
I'd make 'stronger' potions give twice the duration of normal potions and maybe even be combination potions that grant two buffs at once, to save inventory space and make life more convenient.
 
Also I would like to see new potions for hardmode (new buffs). There is no hallow herb. A lot of materials have only one use. So it's time to unleash our creativity.

It's worth adding that there are no new potions in hardmode, as all buff potions can be crafted before defeating any boss.
 
No. These potions should remain entirely untouched. It doesn't matter what point you're at in the game, the majority of buff potions are very, very strong.

the pre hardmode potions are already really strong
adding better hardmode ones would just make the game trivial
even if it's a small buff like mythril skin giving 10 defense instead of 8, throughout all potions it'd eventually just be massive buffs just for different material
