Platforms
Out of 54 platforms, 7 (13%) are uncraftable, 4 (7%) are craftable from Bone Welder + Ecto Mist, and the remaining 43 (80%) are by hand. I believe all of them (except Golden Platforms because they're weird) should be craftable by hand. So, which ones aren't? Just the Team Platforms and the aforementioned Golden Platforms are uncraftable and the Dungeon Platforms need the Welder + Mist. Team Platforms have to reason to be separate from the blocks, so I'd stop the Traveling Merchant from selling the former to just have them craftable with the latter; you could even add Team Walls too but that's outside of the scope of this. Golden Platforms are weird like I said.
Walls
Walls and Platforms feel very connected. You need one material to make multiple of each, you can craft them back, they're very important to builds, and they're usually detached from the special workstations... yet walls need a work bench to be made. I'd say to give it the same treatment as the platforms and have them craftable by hand. The only exceptions would be the fences (anvil and anvil + Mist respectively,) the Mist ones (would only lose the work bench,) and the Wand block ones (which don't have a clear work-around.)
