Having trouble setting up dedicated server. (SOLVED, Solution included)

I'm able to join my own dedicated server, but other people seem to just get stuck on "connecting"

My port forwarding is set up.

Yet my buddy who's helping me test it is just getting stuck on the "connecting" screen.

Is there something I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPdate, I managed to fix my issue. I'm running a SmartRG SR808AC router. And while I previously only set up the port forwarding to 7777 on local and external ports.

What I missed was the fact that I also had to enable Port Triggers for the same port.

So if anybody's running the same modem/router combo. This should fix your issue right up.
