I have a question about the doors for consle will they open when you walk into them or be like pc and open them manually

I may be late to the posting, but I have a suggestion. Maybe add a way to organize worlds in the main menu slots? I've deleted some worlds and now I have a few gaps between world slots.

Greetings, Pipeworks!

I have 2 Questions:

First Question; I have heard that you guys want to provide the "same overall experience across all devices." Does this mean that Console/Mobile-exclusive content will be removed? Or does that mean that the Console/Mobile-exclusive content will be coming to PC? I hope it's the second one, because I REALLY like the exclusive content and it would be a shame to see it go, however, I also like the Idea of having the "same overall experience."

Next question; I have heard news about Xbox one and PlayStation 4. What about the Nintendo Switch? Will it have the 3DS-exclusive content, such as the Zapinator? Or will it be the same version as the Xbox one/PlayStation 4? I think you guy's should try to fit in the Zapinator, but I'm not one to pressure you.

Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck! ;)

Many people have said this, but I'll say it again, but I do not work for the developers. Console/Mobile content will likely stay, and there really isn't any news about the 3DS exclusive content.

That's not what I meant. I meant to ask "Will the Nintendo switch version have the content that the 3DS had, like the zapinator or the correct colors for the plumber's / hero's clothes? Or will the switch version be identical to the Xbox one and PS4 version?"

I know, but the Nintendo Switch version of Terraria will likely keep the content like the 3DS had, seeing that it's a Nintendo device.

I was wondering if terraria console/mobile would get mod support someday So console/mobile players can have a shot at calamity or tremor or Maybe a section in console/mobile terraria where people can create and share mods for other players to download and play themselves

We're now in the dead middle of Q3 and nothing.

Q2 2018 here we come!
It ain't a terraria console update if it isn't 2 years late or cut up into pieces that are all bugged to :red:.

Good afternoon, Terrarians!

My name is Earnest “Nex” Cavalli, and I’m the Community Specialist at Pipeworks Studio. Sorry for bursting in here like this, but I’ve got big news: As you've likely read, Pipeworks Studio is now officially the developer behind the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Terraria!

Don’t worry, we aren’t going to come in with wrecking balls and tear down everything that Re-Logic’s worked so hard to build. You’ll spot the Pipeworks logo when you start the game, but Terraria will remain the same pixelated, creative sandbox you’ve come to know and love, though the updates we’re making to the Terraria code base will allow us to squash bugs more efficiently, add content more rapidly, and continue to build on the amazing foundation Re-Logic has created.

And that’s where you come in. Though we’ll be working behind the scenes to ensure that your biomes are populated, and your Planteras aren’t wilted, we recognize that nobody can match your collective expertise on all things Terraria. Your feedback is tremendously valuable, and we encourage you to continue sharing your ideas, comments, and concerns on the official Terraria forums. In turn, we’re going to work to be as responsive, straightforward, and honest with you as we can. There are some aspects of development that we’ll need to keep a lid on at times, but we’re committed to working alongside all of you to ensure that the Terraria community remains inspiring, welcoming, and, most importantly, fun.

Now, who’s got questions?
