tModLoader Help this is my first time making a mod lol

Hello, I have been trying to learn how to mod Terraria recently and encountered an error in my first mod, I am trying to implement a weapon, and I get an error when trying to load it, does anyone know why this happens?

well, the error mentions line 40, but you cropped that out of your image. Also, you don't seem to have Visual Studio setup properly, you should be seeing red underlines on all errors: Developing with Visual Studio · tModLoader/tModLoader Wiki

Youtube guides tend to be very outdated these days, just use the github wiki instead as that one is much more up-to-date

Riptide it's making 1.4 vids currently and has updated code in the desc for 1.3, and yes, tml github wiki is also really good
