Hi everyone!

I have been playing Terraria for a week and Im still pretty fresh to the game. So my question is:

How to get to the dungeon from the ice caves?
I think I have found every possible way in the dungeon already.

Also: Is there a way to break dungeon blocks?

I'm playing on the hard mode.

There's an entrance to the dungeon on the surface. You'll know when you find it

You cannot break dungeon blocks before you are have beaten Skeletron, and if you somehow get in before then, you'll be slain by a Dungeon Guardian
there is a surface entrance, which is the intended route, but be sure to talk to the old man there at night and select curse to fight skeletron, as entering the dungeon prior to killing him summons guardians to murder you.
