PC Housing NPC bug

I have been havin an issue housing any NPC in a certain room.
Glitch.png

I try to put an NPC into the "A" room, but for some reason, it defaults into the "B" room. As you can see from the overlayed names in "B", you can put as many NPCs as you want into "A", and they will infinitely default into "B". Whenever I use the housing menu tool, on both rooms, it says, "Housing is suitable". Not a major bug, but I would like to get it resolved.

Extra info: both walls and wood are rich mahogany. No walls behind the wood.

A is an odd shaped room, have you tried making it a rectangle to see if it fixes your issue?
