How and Where to Download Mods?

I know there are probably a multitude of threads out there for this, but seeing as I'm not very tech savvy, I was wondering if anyone could explain using terminology I'd understand, or visuals. :)

A majority of community created mods can be found here: https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?forums/client-server-mods-tools.116/ You will need Tmodloader for most of them. You go to the Threads that showcase a Mod, and there will be a download link within the Thread somewhere.

The Released Category contains mods that the creator considers to be complete and has a download link for. The WIP section has mods that aren't considered finished by their creator yet and may/may not have a download link.

I think I was more referring to tModLoader itself, as I got lost in the download process haha.
