How do i find floating islands (Without wasting bullets)?

Currently i am trying to find floating islands without having to buy bullets and mine meteorite ore. My current strategy is building a sky-walk and jumping off to see if i can land on an island. Any other ways that may be easier?

Just keep going in one direction, and make big arcs. You'll find one eventually.

Making a sky bridge just under space might work as well, if gravi potions don't.

Use a gravitation potion. If you see a waterfall and clouds, youve found a floating island. If you don't have an accessory that negates fall damage, reverse gravitation as soon as you see those waterfalls so you can land safely on the island's underside.

As well as grav potions you can use Waterbolt if you have one - sometimes you can get lucky and find one sitting in the upper dungeon, pre-dungeon guardian.

Water Bolt works well, it uses mana, which regenerates.
(You can find it near the top of the dungeon. Better luck if on a small world.)

Gravitation potions and featherfall potions combined can remove the whole "fall damage" issue, and allow for a more consistent search.
