How do terraria forum ranks work and do they have some requirments to obtain them?

To get them you have to do something
Example: confirming You have terraria to get the ‘certified terrarian’ title.
You can look in ‘help’ on the bottom of your screen to get more help

Many titles are based on how long you are on the forums, many are based on how many likes you get, many are based on how many messages you post. Additionally, you can also get titles by linking your Terraria and Pixel Piracy accounts or winning contests on the forums.

You can earn trophies by carrying out different actions. This page shows a list of the trophies that are available.

There are no ranks or special privileges with any of the trophies, just the titles. Not all titles are available (the ones from past contests are examples of such).
