How do you kill the dungeon guardian

I am trying to get the dungeon guardian pet in my world and i know that there’s some sort of hoik strategy, as I haven’t defeated Skeletron yet, so could someone post a blueprint or image of the hoik so I can use it in my expert world?

I like to use a hoik and a rapid chain gun, all with crit chance modifiers on my weapons to try and get that 2 damage crit as often as possible.

if you can set up either a hoik or minecart track in the right loop and get some summons going you can afk the thing.

I did kill him not on Expert mode because there he have waaay more HP. On regular mode as i remember it has 9999 and on expert something like 19999 not sure. And lower def will let you hit him for 1 or sometimes even for 2 hp(!) so you need lots of bulletes, better something like chlorophyte ones

Absolutely, yes. I'm a little experienced with pre hm dg kill.
Allow me to post the things I've written before.


Now, the strategy is actually very simple. First, you dig down a straight hole that lets you go into the dungeon enough to spawn a dungeon guardian, then, depending on where the dungeon is on your world, extend one side of that hole into space. You will align yourself with that line and bounce over dungeon guardian with the slime mount to get to space. When you dig the hole, make a spawn point right next to the line that you can teleport to when the mob spawns. It often comes from the top and this will make things easier. The line you extended upwards, take it to the space (minus 30 blocks) and extend it to the corner of your world. All the way. Then make a 30x30 square, the exact numbers don't matter and I haven't checked. If you build the exact hoik in the image I sent it'll work but you sometimes go inside blocks if you don't get the numbers right. I had to rebuild mine to find the perfect ratio so many times but it worked out eventually. Next, you have to defeat old one's army for the lightning aura. 3 of them provide about 12 dps. I didn't want to spend infinite time farming for more upgrades but the more you get, the better. I've written my theories to increase the dps in the image. You can try them out. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. This was in master mode btw, if you're on classic this will take 8 minutes.
